Agathes Complex in Kournas, Chania

Agathes Complex is situated in a quite, peaceful and lush of green environment, 2 km from the village of Kournas and 7 km away from the blue sea and the lovely sandy beach of Georgioupolis.

The traditional complex is built in absolute harmony of the natural beauty with the modern amenities. It consists of four 2-bedroom apartments, built in maisonette style, and it also offers a big common pool and large furnished courtyards.

The lake of Kournas is the only freshwater lake in Crete. A strip of white sand beside the lake provides an area for swimming, cafes and a few tavernas. The lake is also suitable for canoe and water-cycling and is located only 300 meters  from the Agathes Complex.

Georgioupolis is a very attractive waterfront village with a long, sandy beach, a small fishing harbour and a river passing through the village. Georgioupolis is very lively during the whole day due to the numerous shops, cafes, tavernas, restaurants, and small pubs/bars on the main square and the excellent waterfront.
