August 20 2011 We really enjoyed our holidays at Calm Beach in Kalives. The Hotel has a perfect location: 50 meters to a beautiful beach and nice taverns, and just around the corner you find a bakery where you can buy nice fresh bread for the breakfast. We can recommend both Calm Beach and Kalives to everyone looking for wonderfull easy days under the cretan sun without too many big hotels and tourists. In Kalives you can see real Greece with frendly local people. Thank you, Kalives&Calm Beach. |

July 1 2010 We stayed in Calm Beach for a week. It's a nice place near the beach, 20 meters. A little bit noice at night, but in all a good hotel. |

June 8 2010 We found Calm Beach apts very good the apt we had no 13 is the best one in the block for sea views. The owner was very nice and always around, the apt was cleaned every day 7 day's a week towels changed every other day linen twice a week. We found the Calm Beach apt's a very good holiday home and would recomend them. Plus the olive oil the owner gave us was superb. |

August 30 2009 We had a small studio, with a streeth going close by. No privacy, and very nosy. The bathroom had a smell of mould. The nice thing was the close location too the beach. - August/September 2009 |

June 6 2009 It was a nice little hotel, but the bathroom was too simple - just hand-shower and none walls to stop the water from wetting the hole floor. Used the liness to clean up every time, and we must ask for new handlinesses at the 4th day of our stay. Should have cleanliness to or tree times a week and not just one time. |

June 10 2008 This was my 5th and 6th visit to Calm Beach as I like to stay there at the beginning and end of trips to Crete. Kalives is a delightful place to unwind from the journey and to prepare for the journey home. Calm Beach is invariably good value for money, the rooms are clean and simply furnished, the service is quick and the owners are friendly and pleasant. I look forward to my 7th and 8th visits next spring. - June 2008 |
