Makriyannakis Apartments are a new small complex of apartments and studios built near the traditional, tranquil, seaside village of Episkopi, that is located 15 km west of the city of Rethymnon. Episkopi is a rather small, traditional village located 15 km west of Rethymnon, and 45 km east of Chania. Here there is a small centre here with a few tavernas and mini markets. In the waterfront of the village there is wonderful, long sandy beach that stretches until Rethymnon. The beach is very well organised with umbrellas, sun loungers, showers, restaurants, and beach bars.
