August 2, 2010 Καλησπέρα, Λυπάμαι που θα σας στεναχωρήσω αλλά θα ήθελα να σας ενημερώσω ότι δεν έμεινα και πολύ ευχαριστημένη από τη διαμονή μου στο ξενοδοχείο σας. Αρχικά ταλαιπωρήθηκα παρα πολύ με το θέμα του parking, όταν έκανα την κράτηση με ενημέρωσαν ότι ύπάρχει δημόσιος χώρος στάθμευσης κοντά στο ξενοδοχείο. Δυστυχώς ο χώρος αυτός ήταν πάντα κατελλειμένος και εγώ πάρκαρα πάντα πολύ μακρυά και κουβαλούσα με τα χέρια, ολα τα απαραίτητα πράγματα που έπαιρνα μαζί μου για τη θάλασσα, περίπου μισό χιλιόμετρο, με αποτέλεσμα να επιδεινωθεί η τενοντίτιδα την οποία έχω στον ακανθοειδή μυ. Νομίζω ότι όταν έκανα την κράτηση έπρεπε να με είχαν ενημερώσει σωστά. Πληροφοριακά να σας πω ότι πήρα κλίση, επειδή το βράδυ της Τετάρτης πάρκαρα επί της οδού Σκαλίδου, διότι επί μισή ώρα έψαχνα και δεν έβρισκα να παρκάρω.. Ακόμα, το δωμάτιο μου, το οποίο θα πρέπει να αναγνωρίσω ότι ήταν πεντακάθαρο, μύριζε πολύ άσχημα (κάτι σαν μούχλα), από τα παλιά έπιπλα τα οποία είχε μέσα. Νομίζω ότι οταν κάνατε ανακαίνιση θα έπρεπε έστω και με κάτι λιτό και οικονομικό να είχατε αντικαταστήσει και τα έπιπλα, καθώς επίσης και το στρώμα, από το οποίο κάθε πρωί σηκωνόμουν με πόνο στη μέση. Τέλος θα ήθελα να σας επισημάνω ότι καλό είναι η υπάληλοι υποδοχής να χαμογελούν περισσότερο, έτσι ώστε οι πελάτες να νοιώθουν άνετα και να θέλουν να παρατείνουν τη διαμονή τους στο κατάλυμά σας και όχι να ψάχνουν ξενοδοχείο για να φύγουν όπως έγινε με εμένα, με αφορμή, (όχι όμως και πραγματική αιτία), το ότι μου ζητήθηκε να αλλάξω δωμάτιο και να πάω σε ένα το ίδιο όπως μου είπαν, αλλά έναν όροφο πιο πάνω. Οταν ρώτησα γιατί δεν πάνε οι νέοι ένοικοι, μου απάντησαν ότι δεν γινεται, χωρίς κάποια άλλη εξήγηση. Πως θα σας φαινόταν αν θα ήσασταν διακοπές και έπρεπε να μαζέψε τε ολα σας τα πράγματα, για να εξυπηρετηθούν κάποιοι άλλοι; Σας εύχομαι καλή συνέχεια |

June 28, 2010 We have a nice stay at the hotel. Rooms have a great view. A very nice gentleman greeted us and was most helpful. Unfortunately the lady on reception was very frosty and rather ignorant for being on a reception desk. |

June 25, 2010 Nice hotel with a perfect view to the venezian harbour. Perfect functioning AC and soundkilling doors which allows you to sleep even if the bars beneath is open. Noise from the stairs is very easily heard in the rooms, so be quiet when you return late. |

May 20, 2010 WE were very very pleased with our room in the Lucia Hotel. Hotel location is excellent, on the waterfront, in the midst of the strip with countless restaurants and shops. Very clean and quiet. I give it a 10 out of 10! |

May 20, 2010 We really enjoyed are stay at the Lucia Hotel, the view Venetian Harbour was spectacular both during the day and at night, location of the hotel was great, the staff was helpful and friendly and the daily room charges where very reasonable. We highly recommend the Lucia Hotel to anybody who inquires about visiting the city of Chania. |

October 10, 2009 Lovely view over the harbour and ideal location. The room was pretty basic and mattress a bit hard but I did not expect anything else for a 2-star hotel. However, it was clean and the reception staff were most helpful and friendly. The balcony doors completely blocked out any noise from the cafe below. Overall I was most happy. |

October 8, 2009 Yes my stay was very nice in your hotel...one thing i find not very healthy is the old floor...need to be change some day...but the people working there is very friendly...one thing more for the cold night would be nice to have a coton blanket instead of old synthetic wollen blanket...would enjoy to come back. love |

September 22, 2009 Although the location of the hotel is excellent, many things are shabby and dirty (the stairs, the carpets) The desk staff could have been more friendly. Out of date notices were posted on the bulletin board (for example an announcement of breakfast being served when in fact it was not). In summary, this hotel could use some fixing up and a good cleaning. |

September 15, 2009 Honestly speaking, the room was VERY different for the picture in your website: smaller and less "nice" than expected. Furniture was old and cupboard could not be closed. Air conditioning was not working correctly and, due to that, we had to keep the window open, suffering for the noise from the restaurant(s) immediately under our room. For that reason, I would NOT advice anyone to take a room, unless it is the one on the picture. |

August 4, 2009 Thank you for a lovely holiday. We were very pleased with the location of the hotel and the excellent service on reception. However we were disappointed with the comfort of the bed - very hard mattress, and the shower had very little pressure and the water just trickled out. If these problems were amended we would definitely return. Many thanks. - August 2009 |

August 3, 2009 One gets what they pay for. This is the case with Hotel Lucia as well. The best thing about the hotel is its location right on the Old Harbor and the amazing views of the sea, skyline and the Lighthouse one can have from their rooms. Though the hotel is at the noisiest part of the town, its soundproof windows prevent one from even realizing it, keeping all nightlife noise blocked. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For all these reasons I extended my stay at the hotel for two more weeks than originally booked. - August 2009 |

July 19, 2009 The location of this hotel is brilliant - right in the centre of the harbor-front accommodation. We were delighted by that. The rooms are basic and the price reflects the location, not the rooms themselves. We had a balcony that was nice to sit on with a drink, watching the little boats come in and out of the harbor and all the passing people. Rooms were very basic - no frills furniture but it had what we needed, being a bed, fridge, functional bathroom and excellent soundproofing. Also good air conditioning - it was very hot when we stayed. Chania was wonderful, we loved it. This hotel is a good choice if you aren't looking for internal atmosphere but want to be right in the action. The booking process was great, we had no problems at all. |

June 26, 2009 This was a nice hotel, and the management was very helpful, warm and charming (especially Christos). However, the housekeeping needs a bit of rethinking: We were there for 6 days with no change of towels. Also, for two days before we left, the water in the sink did not drain and even though we told the manager (Not Christos or the other man), the housekeeping staff neither cleaned our bathroom, nor fixed the drainage. - June 2009 |
