July 13 2011 Hi, i am glad that you send me this review as i was going to send an email myself in regards to my stay. I came with all my family for my fathers birthday and i was expecting much more from your hotel. i travel to all inclusive hotels every year in different countries and this was the only one that we came back disappointed. it was not a cheap hotel and so we expected much more. no 1 . we booked for 3 double rooms and we were given 3 twin rooms( double room means a double bed and not 2 single beds next to each other ) no 2. as soon as we arrived, at 9pm with the ferry, we were told to rush to the restaurant as it will close at 9.30, as soon as we took our plates to the table, the staff were clearing everything , switching off the lights and did not give us time to take a sweet or anything else. no3. we were given only 1 card key per room were you need to open the door or even take the lift with it, this was very inconvenience as i could not go near the pool while my husband needed to go around. you should give 2 keys per room, that what we always get from other hotels. no4. it is nice to have a small playing area for the kids near the pool but this should be very well kept as i have photos, if you want i send them over where the ground next to the playing area is very dangerous for kids and this is against EU standards. no4. i had room towels with holes in them, it could be pegs holes on whatever but they do not look good at all, ( and i can show you photos of these too) no5. it is very inconvenience that in the snack bar you do not serve alcohol and people next to the pool were there is the playing area, have to go to the other side every time to get a cocktail no6. everybody was complaining about the heat in the lifts as there is no ventilation at all, and in the main restaurant as the air condition was not set in a comfortable temperature, when we complained, the staff said they could do nothing about it, also, the staff themselves, were sweating because of the heat and this does not look nice at all. no7. At the bar,we were told every time that certain cocktails were not included in the all inc, were they could have given the same cocktail with local brands.This is were i thanks the Maitre , Mr Michelis Fourakis as he sorted this situation for us after i spoke to him. After my experience in many all inc hotels, i can say that you spend a lot of attention in the website so that you get clients but once that clients pay you are not given the service that it should be given to all inclusive customers. it seemed to me that everything was made intentionally in a cost cutting way. I suggest to hotel manager to check out what other all inclusive hotels offer in all countries as money for money this was no worth it at all (I can give you some sites myself). I finish with thanking the staff as they were really friendly to us and even though it was not the ideal holiday for us, they tried to be as helpful as possible. |
