June 25 2011 We had 14 wonderful days at Villa Eleni. 4 adults and 4 children enjoying themselves in the beautiful villa. The beautiful garden with large swimming pool was well received by the children. All rooms have air conditioning, and it was necessary in the heat. We would like to recommend Villa Eleni to those planning a trip to Chania area. Yours sincerely, 8 people from Norway. |

June 6 2010 I stayed at Villa Eleni with 3 friends for 10 days during June 2010. The villa far exceeded our expectations and the fotos do not do the villa justice. I cannot fault anything at all. The staff at the agency who booked the villa were very helpful and accommodating and the owner very generous. Our bedrooms were fairly spacious and all had lovely views. All had adequate storage space, tv and comfortable beds not to mention fantastic sea views or mountain view (equally wonderful)from the large terraces/balconies. The kitchen was full size and not missing anything (maybe a kettle would be nice). The air conditioning has been updated and all rooms now have individual air conditioning (which we made full use of towards the end of our 10 day stay as the temperatures soared to 40+) rather than the underfloor aircon which has been mentioned in other reviews. The swimming pool is a good size and affords good privacy. The gardens small but lovely. The villa is on a hill with one or two other small hotels nearby. It is secluded and quiet but not too secluded to feel isolated. You can walk to the beach and the main shopping street from the villa but unless you are very fit I would recommend a car. From the main beach road there are taxis and regular buses to take you to Xania (Chania) which is about 9 km away (15mins by car). There are lots of good restaurants in Stalos (Maria being the best but Mylos towards Platania is also good) and too many to mention in Chania. I really cannot fault the villa and the service at all and all four of us were sad at leaving this beautiful island with its lovely hospitable and friendly people. We hope to go back soon. I highly recommend the villa and Crete and hope this review is of help to anyone wishing to travel to this part of Crete. |

August 15 2009 Hello, Mr. Ioannis Solidakis. Honestly we did not know, before, about of the tourism agency TheHotel.gr. I chose, simply, a beautiful place where spend our leave, and I did a wonderful choise. The Elleni Villa where we were even air was absolutely perfect, more than I expected. I recommend with confidence my friend, the agency TheHotel.gr, are convinced that you will guide on a good way. Thank you very much for your hospitality. With respect, Ciprian Ignat |

September 23 2008 We had an awesome time on Crete and would love to come back some time. Greece is a beautiful country, the people were friendly, and the food was the best we've had anywhere and our family has done some international traveling. Villa Eleni was more than adequate. The children loved the pool discovering the roof. We all found the villa beautiful and comfortable. Sorry we aren't very proficient in speaking or reading Greek so it was difficult to operate the Washer-Dryer. English directions might help some. Thanks for a wonderful time! - September 2008 |

September 6 2008 Villa is perfect. Very comfortable. Spectacular views both on the sea and the mountians. All the facilities. The taverna is next building 50m.away. Beach is 500 m but do not recommend to walk cause villa is on the top of the hill and it is difficult to walk back. Beach by car - 3 min. - September 2008 |
