May 28 2011 We had a great holiday in Villa Grigoria! The house and the garden was wonderful! We were 8 adults and 4 children and we all want to come back soon. The owners were wery kind and service minded and offered us all the help and information we could want. The house had all the equipment we needed and with our own swimming pool and even the weather on our side we all agreed - this was our best holidays ever! It was a nice 20 min. walk down to the beach and plenty of good restaurants in the city - and if we found the hillside hard to walk "home" we could always take a cab for 5-6 euro. May 15 2011 This villa is perfect! As a matter of fact it is much greater than on the pictures and what we were expecting! So clean, plenty of place for our 9 persons, great outdoor areas with beautiful roses, excellent location on a hill (so peaceful!) with such an amazing view! Also the owner, Mrs Grigoria, was so nice and friendly. We definitely recommend this villa to everyone and we might also rent it again next year... :) |

September 7 2010 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa Grigoria. Our ferry was late arriving in Crete, and we had some complications with our rental vehicle, so it was quite late when we got to the villa, but we called and John came right over to let us in and show us around. After that initial night, we called a couple other times and all our requests were responded to immediately. The Villa itself is quite astonishing, surrounded by the quietness of the olive groves with a magnificent view out, but yet close enough to walk into Agia Marina if desired. I would recommend having a vehicle though, as the hill gets a little wearing on the walk back up. Overall, a great stay and a great villa! |

October 3 2009 Gorgia was very nice and cooperative. The villa is wonderfull and gives a full value for the payment: great rooms, wonderful view, nice yard, convinient bathrooms and kitchen, great balconies - We enjoyed very much. Suitable for 2 families. Recomended! |

September 12 2009 As you can see by the ratings we all, 4 couples from Sweden, were very satisfied with all facilities of the villa as well of the calm and beautiful situation of the villa in the middle of a huge olive tree plantation. Viewing all over the beautiful coast and the island in front of the coast. The villa with the nice and perfect planned pool area and the shady hacienda with its barbercube was the most frequented place for us during our nice stay, though there was a nice beach and a lot of restaurants and shops just some hundered meters walk down to the village. We all were facinated by how new and clean and how well equipded the villa were, with all electrical facilities present. Meaning you could cook all kinds of meals in the at "home" in the kitchen. So the villa and it´s surroundings were high above our expectations, which still were high already from the beginning! We will gladly come back to you an other time! |

August 15 2009 Overall it was fantastic. Very nice villa, great location, great view, nice yard and pool. They don't come over to clean it often enough. We had the villa full and they came to clean every 3-4 days, which was not enough when the villa is full.. |

July 19 2009 It is fantastic villa but the area is not the best in Crete. The best beaches are a bit too far and the nearest city is very turistic. But we have enjoyed the villa and the owners have been very helpful: where to eat etc... Chania is beatiful city but it is not easy to get there without a car. Sometimes the busses are overcrowded especially in the season. So a Taxi is an alternative. We would like to go back to Chania. For sure. |

June 25 2009 Thank you very much for a nice week. We arrived late due to a delayed flight, when we arrived at the villa the keys were in the doors, indside there were welcomming baskets with various fruits and cakes and wather in the fridge. What a great service, there were no fuss about the remaning payment. It was a nice way to start the holiday. We would recommend this villa because it has the most beautiful views and a great garden with a nice size pool for the family too enjoy. It is also a great choice if you are 2 families traveling together. We would love to come back someday. Our best regards to Mrs. Grigoria for a great stay in the villa. May 16 2009 We just want to thank you so much for the superb service, both with the car that we picked up at the airport and for recommending the Villa Grigoria. We were 9 persons in the house, in age from 6 up to 71 years and it was the perfect house for us. Clean and spacius with a breathtaking view over the sea. A nice pool and a beutiful garden. 10 point all over! Thank you so much, I hope that we will have the opportunity to book via The Hotel Group again! September 26 2008 It is difficult to rate all the rooms together because the rooms on the upper floor are much better than the ones on the ground floor. For the upper floor I would give 10/10 and for the lower floor I would give 7/10, so I calculated a kind of average. If by "dining" you mean dining area, then it is very nice. Altogether we enjoyed our stay very much. The pool area is beautiful but we couldn't make use of it because the water was already too cold for us. You supplied everything we asked for, and that was also very good. We were disappointed with the satelite TV as none of the channels that were paid for were of any use for us. We suggest that for the next season you arrange to have good channels for foreigners (like CNN, BBC, etc.) Mrs. Grigoria is a very nice person and we send her our best regards. May 28 2008 We had a lovely time in Crete for two weeks at the end of may 2008. We went on a holiday to celebrate 50th birthday of my mother in law. It all started when we got a very good directions to the villa from the airport. When we came there we where astonished to see the villas and the view, truely amazing. When we came the owner a very plesant creatan lady and her husband where there waiting for us, the showed us around the villas and finally offered to drive two of us to the next grocery store to buy some food. They told us about some good restaurants and asked us very politely when it would be best for them to come and clean. We found the villas very pleasant. The souroundings were a bit wierd though, there were cunstruction sites all around and dark and a bit scary road up the hill to the villas, so when we where arriving late at night we always tried to take taxis all the way. - May/June 2008 |
