The owner of Villa Venezia - Nadia was delightful and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The room was full of history. We will definitely go back. The best views in Chania.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Venezia. We couldn't ask for better hospitality, a nicer room and the view onto the harbour was priceless!
Many thanks

We were met late at night by a very gracious and helpful host who took us to our room overlooking Hania's Venetian harbour. Town, taverna's and sea all but steps away. We had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for better acommodation. The room was clean, private yet opened out on to the Aegean lifestyle. For us, wanting to experience that lifestyle we couldn't have asked for better! Well done!

The Villa Venezia beautiful and the service was fantastic. The lady owner was lovely, so helpful and very friendly. We visited in May, and sadly our trip was cut short due to illness, but we still managed to have the most wonderful time and would go back to Villa Venezia in a minute.
I have booked many places before where the photo's look better than the reality. This was NOT the case with Villa Venezia. The photo's do not do it justice.

Could not have asked for a better experience in Crete.

Nadia who takes care of the place and cleans it is the nicest person we met in Crete. When there was a taxi strike leaving us stranded at the airport she called around and managed to find someone to come pick us up. The rooms here are very small and old but Nadia keeps everything very clean. The bed was very hard and the shower was very small.
We booked a sea view room which is a must when staying here...shutters opened up to the harbour and we had a lovely breeze every day into our room. All in all would definitely recommend to stay here.

We had a beautiful and pleasant experience at the Villa Venezia. Mrs. Nadia is a very warm and kind host who will go out of her way to ensure that her guests are very well taken care of. We recommend this lovely location to anyone who wishes to enjoy the best that Chania has to offer. Thank you for the opportunity to visit!

I know I am giving the best ratings I can give - but this place truly deserves it! How many times can you stay in a 400 year old place which belonged to a Lord- with beautiful wooden floors and furniture, a lovely large kitchen and a breathtaking view?
I travelled with my 3 girlfriends and this place was perfect as it turned out much cheaper than booking 2 separate rooms anywhere at the harbour. A discount at the restaurant downstairs gave a BIG breakfast for a small price.
I love this place and would love to stay there again. So much charm :)
And the staff is so nice and helpful :) - May 2008

This small charming hotel is located right on the harbor, in the middle of the historic old town of Chania. Most rooms have a full view of the water, with great opportunity for watching the local activities. Tavern below can be the source of late-night noise, but we enjoyed watching and listening as the locals and tourists enjoyed themselves. Many restaurants and sights are right out the door, with the modern town very near. Easy walking distance to bus stop for travel to the rest of Crete. There are many resorts with beaches to choose instead, but, for us, Chania had to be experienced from a 14th century villa. We would love to return! - April 2008
