Villa Elsa is a beachfront, traditional 3-bedroom Villa with a private pool in front of the lovely sandy beach of Platanias. The Villa is about 150 sq m, located in a private plot of 4200 sq m, and it is ideal for families with children and group of friends. The center of Platanias is less than 300 meter away with many restaurants, taverns, small bars, mini-markets, shops and a few children playgrounds.
Τhe lovely Villa Elsa has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a spacious open plan area with a living room corner and a dining table, and a fully-equipped kitchen. One bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds, and one very big bedroom with four single beds are provided. Two bathrooms with a shower and one bathroom with a bathtub are offered.
A private swimming pool of 40 sq m, up to 2.10 meters deep, with sun loungers and sun umbrellas is also offered.
From the large front terrace there are lovely sea views to the magnificent Cretan sea and the island of Agioi Theodorou (a natural resort for the Cretan goats called "Kri-Kri"). A smaller terrace in the backyard, ideal for the morning hours is also available. Air-conditioning in every bedroom and the open plan area, Wi-Fi, a 50-inches smart TV, hot water, sun umbrellas and sun loungers, a portable barbecue, the lovely singing of birds and of the sea waves are offered.
Villa Elsa was built by a Scandinavian merchant of two cargo ships, who was fascinated with the unique Cretan architecture and with modernism and who decided to settle in beautiful Crete. It became a meeting point for the English, American and Scandinavian community in Chania.
Platanias is a popular town with a long sandy beach and a variety of recreation facilities and activities, such as elegant restaurants, traditional tavernas, small clubs, bars, pool bars, jewellery shops, supermarkets, sea sports, children playgrounds, banks, all located in very short walking distance from Villa Elsa. Public transport to Chania is easy and frequent.
