Villa Olive is a beautiful, traditional 2-bedroom villa, located in a green area, surrounded by olive groves, in the small traditional village of Voukolies, about 30 km south-west of Chania.

The lovely villa is ideal for nature lovers and people who look for tranquility. It offers two bedrooms, an open plan sitting area with fireplace and a fully-equipped kitchen. A lovely partly shaded courtyard with distant sea views, and a private pool are provided.

Right next to the villa there is a totally renovated mansion, like a small museum, with antiques and objects from the previous century, all of which are carefully collected by the owner. Finally, a small private church of Saint Stamatios and Saint Xrisi worths also sightseeing.

Guests will find a few small traditional taverns, a mini market, a farmacy and a bank at a short driving distance, about 3 km away from the villa, while the nearest lovely beach is 8 km far. Finally, a gas station lies approximately 4 km away.

I can only say this was the nicest AirB&B we ever had, they really provided everything you would need to start your holiday at once and not have to rush down to the shops. The location is utterly peaceful surrounded by olive groves with peacocks running free, with magnificent views and a wonderful swimming pool , the bedrooms are comfortable and warm, the living room/kitchen perfect to cook and lounge about in and the grounds with fruit trees, places to sit and even lawns - simply stunning. The bathroom features a whirlpool bath which made the perfect end to driving days exploring the west coast. An unexpected bonus was a ginger cat who adopted us. I really cannot fault a single thing and wouldn’t want to either - it was a perfect stay and a perfect villa with kind and generous owners. I lost the GPS signal on the last few km so just follow the signs to the Villa as Google sent me on a merry wild goose chase ;-) I can only hope we have the good luck to visit again.
