Blue horizon (Thea) was a lovely villa and we had a very comfortable 10 day stay. The hosts and owners were very communicative and helpful and quick to respond. The villa was a bit more remote than we had expected but we should have investigated that better. That said it has several good restaurants within 2 km and is very private and peaceful. As an elevated property the view is amazing and the sunsets were legendary - we never missed one. We wanted for nothing. The pool was cleaned every couple of days and the cleaner also visited frequently. Having the washing machine and dishwasher made life easy as my husband likes to cook at home often. There is a gas bbq which was very much appreciated. Pool towels are provided as well as bathroom towels and there are 3 or 4 sharp knives for the vacation chefs. There were some starter supplies provided which was a lovely surprise. We were advised to shop en route and that is excellent advice that guests should follow.

We stayed in Thea villa, Blue Horizon. The drive from Chania was just under two hours. The first 1 hr 30 m are along dual/single carriageways and the last 20-25 m are along mountain passes - the roads were incredibly well maintained and we felt safe driving - the views were to die for.
The villa itself is in a block of three, Thea being the largest and having the best views of the most amazing sunset we’ve ever seen.
The villa had everything we needed. The showers were on the smaller side; the outdoor shower had hot water and, with hot evenings, it was delightful showering outside!
Plenty of storage space, the kitchen is stocked with all sorts of equipment, the mattresses weren’t the comfiest (but we are used to Tempur at home).
Outdoor cushions would make it more comfortable, but the winds, whilst warm, were ferocious.
Local beaches are quiet and stunning. Little Triopetra had fewer waves and the taverns were fantastic.
Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Emmanuel & Yannis waren immer sehr freundlich und haben sehr schnell geantwortet, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Die Unterkunft ist super und sehr ruhig gelegen - sie ist definitiv weiterzuempfehlen!

Site très agréable malgré le vent que nous avons eut durant deux jours. Vue magnifique, calme et détente assurée. Plage agréable, facile d'accès les tavernes sont sympathiques et abordables. Logement bien équipé et confortable, la salle de bain est très compacte et la douche un peu petite surtout pour les grands gabarits.

Wir haben die Ruhe und den fantastischen Meerblick in der Villa Thea und das und die unaufgeregte, glücklicherweise noch nicht komplett touristisch erschlossene Umgebung sehr genossen. Ein idealer Ort um sich zu erholen!

What a place it is! A beautiful and quiet location and a massive villa. The pool is great, but what makes this beautiful definitely worth it's money is the view. When you walk out the door, you see the ocean behind the pool and the mountains on the side, it is breathtaking. The villa has everything you need and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing time!

Relativ neues stabiles Steinhaus auf großem Grund.Entspricht zu 100% den veröffentlichten Bildern.Sehr schöne Aussicht auch nachts da wenig Elektrosmog. Bestes Pool, sehr sauber.

Très belle villa avec une vue magnifique dans un endroit isolée. La maison est moderne et très bien équipée et la piscine est grande, propre et agréable. La région est sauvage et ventée, avec de jolies plages et tavernes à 5 min en voiture. nous recommandons cette location.

Det smukkeste og skønneste sted vi har boet. Vi har besøgt Kreta 9 gange og dette var klart yndlingsstedet. Vi elskede roen, bjergene og det smukke hav. Kommunikationen med værterne var fantastisk. De var aøde og opmærksomme på vores ve og vel.. Vi vil helt sikkert vende tilbage. ♥️
