September 24 2009 A very pleasant apartment with stunning views and an attractive hanging garden surround. Peaceful, calm atmosphere. The swimming pool was lovely and great for the kids. Excellent traditional tavernas just 10 minutes stroll up the hill to the village. Everyone was kind and most helpful and we would thoroughly recommend a stay. |

July 11 2009 We liked the stay very much. There was som confusion about the rooms upon arrival. Our rooms were allocated to another party. The rooms had a good size. The safe was not mounted to wall and lacked batteries. We only had one breakfast and one lunch. The lunch was very good. The breakfast was to simple according to our taste. Overall - we are happy and have recommended Plaka apt. to friends. |

June 30 2009 We were very pleased with our stay at Plaka Apartments. The view, the pool, the atmosphere and the garden were over expectations. We had a room with fantastic view and the staff were very nice and friendly. I can really recomend Plaka Apartments and would gladly come back again. May 19 2009 Plaka apartments are very well looked after. They are perfect for a relaxing holiday, the pool is clean and refreshing, the rooms have fridges so you can cater for yourself but there are so many delicious tavernas in Plaka and nearby Almerida that you don't need to cook for yourself. The views from the apartments and the pool are stunning as they overlook Souda bay. September 13 2008 Lovely place with beautiful outlook over the bay and to the mountains. Gardens are tasteful and decorative Ambience is laid back and world music generally pleases. Room 12 which we had was very spacious, with two balconies offering morning and afternoon sun shine and views. Plaka village a short walk away with a good mini market and tavernas to suit various tastes - September 2008 |

July 30 2008 We had a wonderfull time at the Plaka Apartments. The way the appartments are situated is very favourable, it's secluded and provides a perfect view of the sea and mountains. Spiros has made it a perfect botanical tresure that hides the Apartments and doesn't spoil the natural beauty of island. The hospitality and friendliness is exceptional and the musical evenings of concerts with guests made it a special experience. We will cherish the memories of a morning swim with the panorama of sea and mountains, spectacular sunsets and falling aslip to an amazing sound of jazz. July 8 2008 Adequate rooms for our needs, but as we needed the spare bed and there was no air-con or fan in the main room we had to move all beds into the bedroom as it was too hot to sleep in the main room. Not so much crockery if someone really wanted to self-cater eg no bowls. We recommend Plaka Apartments for : great location with mature plants contributing to a sense of being away from the intense heat of July : friendly and helpful staff It is unlikely to come again to that location but would certainly recomment Plaka Apts to others. The web-site was accurate about Plaka Apartments, although we didn't realise there was air-con in only one room which would have been OK if there had been a fan in the main room, but there wasn't a fan either. - July 2008 |
