From five minutes after booking until the day after we returned home to the UK, Yannis and Emmanuel were exceptional hosts. Their communication, attention to detail, and genuine care made the whole experience effortless.
The villa is even better than the photos. We stayed as a family of 10, including three young children and a grandparent, and the layout was perfect offering both privacy and fantastic spaces to come together. The grounds, gardens, and pools are immaculate, and the maintenance and housekeeping team were always friendly and professional.
The location is ideal for exploring the Chania region and western Crete. With the hire car arranged by the hosts, stunning beaches, supermarkets, and Chania Old Town were all within easy reach.
The views are incredible truly 11/10. We also met the owner, Mr Costas, who built the villa as a family home, and the quality of the design and finishes is outstanding.
One of the best family holidays we've ever had.

What a perfect holiday! The views of the ocean, mountain ranges, and the glorious Cretan sunset were the cherry on top of an already stunning villa, while Emmanuel and Yannis were the most attentive and helpful hosts we’ve ever stayed with, ensuring our trip went as smoothly as possible. The villa and pool looked exactly as shown in the photos, and our group of eight had a fantastic time enjoying everything it had to offer. It says a lot about the place when the only inconvenience we encountered was the lack of chopping boards! All in all, a pretty perfect stay — we’d come back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!

The Villa was great, a great Pool, a bbq area and every bathroom has it's own bathroom. Everywhere blends and good functioning AC.
The service from the staff of thehotel.gr was great, they asked every day if everything was allright.
This was a great vacation and really worth the money.

Am avut o experiență absolut fantastică la Epavlis Akrotiri! Am fost impresionați de atenția la detalii, de grandoarea casei și de atmosfera primitoare. Casa este amenajată cu gust, combinând perfect confortul modern cu un design cald și prietenos. Fiecare colț pare să fi fost gândit pentru a oferi oaspeților un sejur relaxant și plăcut. Curățenia a fost impecabilă, iar facilitățile au depășit așteptările – am avut tot ce ne trebuia pentru a ne simți ca acasă. Am apreciat în mod deosebit priveliștea superbă și liniștea din jur. Este locul perfect pentru a te deconecta de agitația cotidiană și pentru a te bucura de natură. Grădina spațioasă și terasa au fost locurile noastre preferate pentru a savura cafeaua de dimineață și serile liniștite. Gazdele au fost extrem de amabile și atente la toate detaliile, asigurându-se că nu ne lipsește nimic și că avem parte de un sejur fără griji. Comunicarea a fost excelentă, iar recomandările lor pentru activități în zonă au fost de mare ajutor!

Stayed here for 7 nights in August 2024 as a family of 6 including 2 children 9 & 12.
Very nice place, high quality finish, very clean.
The host team were very welcoming and accommodating regarding everything we needed and were always available with advice for local activities etc. The outdoor BBQ and pizza cooking area was perfect. Highly recommended and we would happily stay here again.
