We needed an automatic car and the hotel.gr recommended this company to us. I have to say the service from both the hotel.gr and Horofakia Car Rental were excellent.
We arrived at Chania Airport in a heatwave 41 degrees C, and we are elderly, so no way could we walk to the car office in that heat as it is outside the airport on the approach road. I rang the office and within ten minutes a nice young man met us at the Airport Exit 3 doors and took us back to the office where we were each given a warm welcome and a cool bottle of water while we completed the paperwork.
The car was in very good condition with just a few minor paint scratches that were pointed out to us. It was clean inside and out, and everything worked perfectly throughout the holiday. We were told to return the car with the same amount of petrol so I took a photo of the petrol guage to help us remember the level.
It was another very hot day when we returned the car and once again we had excellent service. The car was checked for new damage ( none) then we were driven to the airport and dropped off right at the door.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Horofakia Car Rental. The price we paid for such a good car was very fair and the service from them and thehotel.gr was excellent.
