Gamla Stan
Gamla Stan Chania betraktas som en av de trevligaste i Grekland och det är den mest underbaraste delen av hela staden. Gamla staden består av den gamla venetianska hamnen och med små block placerade bakom den. Den kännetecknas av de många kvarvarande venetianska och turkiska byggnader och de smala och pittoreska gränderna på samma sätt som en förtrollande labyrint.
De flesta av byggnaderna är renoverade och de komponerar ett pussel av nutid och venetiansk arkitektur, och visar många av de aspekter av stadens historia.
De venetianska och turkiska byggnaderna har blivit statens byggnader, motell, restauranger, barer och museer numera.
