Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die direkte Nähe zum Meer sowie die wunderschöne Umgebung – ideal zum Entspannen. Ein echtes Highlight waren auch die super leckeren Orangen aus dem Garten. Das Haus selbst ist jedoch etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte an einigen Stellen eine Auffrischung vertragen. Dennoch haben wir uns insgesamt wohlgefühlt und die Zeit sehr genossen.

Nous avons passé un séjour ressourçant entourés par la magnifique nature de la maison Kalami: oliviers, grenadiers, bananiers, jasmin, vignes, … la mer transparente et pleine de poissons à 1 minute à pied de la maison. Un veritable havre de paix et ressourcement où nous reviendrons certainement. Tout est simple, authentique, local, et sans exagération pseudo-deco comme on en voit souvent dans les airbnb. On se sent vraiment comme a la maison. Merci du fond du coeur à nos hôtes: 3 générations de femmes partageant le sens de l’accueil et la discrétion.

Facile à trouver, super appartement avec une belle vue sur la mer et la nature. La plage est au fond du jardin. La plage est très tranquille et peu peuplé. Très calme, à proximité environs 10 min en voiture de restaurant. Hôte très disponible et nous a donné des recommandations. Nous avons pu faire la longue randonnée des gorges de samaria grâce a leur conseil. Vraiment magnifique. Nous avons adoré notre séjour.

Dieses Haus mit großem Garten voller Olivenbäume direkt am Meer ist eine großartige Entscheidung, wenn du Ruhe statt Trubel suchst. Einfacher Check in, gekühltes Wasser zur Begrüßung in Kühlschrank, sehr schnelle und freundliche Kommunikation, viele Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten innen und außen, Küchensausstattung ausreichend, in 10-15 Autominuten Entfernung gibt es reichlich Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, herrliche Cafés und Tavernen. Es lohnt sich, dafür ein paar Kilometer ins Land zu fahren. Das Schnorchelerlebnis hast du hier direkt vor der Haustür. Das Haus und die Umgebung haben uns sehr glücklich gemacht!

Very good location. The villa is almost on the beach. There are 2 beaches actually. The closest one is very quiet until around 16:00 but also can get crowded during weekends. It has two spots of natural shade provided by vegetation, so no umbrella is required. Another beach - several hundreds meters away has paid sun beds, cafeteria etc. But we never used that beach. House is nice too. Good for families with adolescent kids. They can stay on either separate floor and enjoy their own day cycle. I particularly appreciate very friendly host replying very quickly.

We had a fantastic stay and loved it very much! The hosts were accommodating and responsive. The house was amazing! It was enough for our group of 5. You will need a car to get around, but it was worth it for us. Pebble Beach is a two-minute walk and accessible. Overall, it was amazing!

Emmanuel & Yannis's place was just perfect and they were amazing hosts! They suggested a few restaurants nearby that were really good. The property is filled with olive trees, pomegranate trees, fig trees, etc. and has an amazing view of the sea. The house is divided in two living quarters, the top being the largest with two single beds and a queen bed, and the bottom with two single beds. The layout was perfect for us as my mom was able to retire in her own apartment at the end of the day, while we stayed upstairs. The pebble beach is a one minute walk and was very much enjoyed by our girls. There is a sand beach with sunbeds and a snackbar five minutes down the road too. The house is well situated; we drove to Chania (30 min), Balos (1.5 hr), Rethimno (45 min), Kissamos (45 min), the Botanical Gardens of Crete (30 min), and more. We highly recommend this place!

What a great place this is. Very quiet and close to the see. You have a small beach almost to yourself. Emmanuel and Yannis are very friendly and always willing to help. A perfect place to see the western part of Crete. For sure I we would go to Kalami again if we would visit Crete again.

The most beautiful setting. Having the beach at the bottom of the garden and being able to swim in the clear calm water any time, was just perfect. That is what we will miss the most and the view. The house was perfect for our needs, and the teenage daughter liked to have her own private area on the lower part of the house. Great location, however you will need a car if planning to leave the house and explore Crete. There are supermarkets close by. The hosts were quick to respond and gave so much advice and info on a visit to Crete. They helped us sort the car hire too. Very good altogether. Fully recommend this property and the hosts. Beautiful 😊

Sublime séjour idéal pour se ressourcer en famille. Endroit bien situé, très calme, hotes réactifs et de bon conseil. Un panier de fruit nous attendait pour notre arrivée. Logement très propre. Un grand merci pour cette sublime semaine.

"Nous avons passé un fabuleux séjour dans cette petite maison pour la deuxième fois. Le calme, la mer et la vue sont parfaits pour décompresser. Le logement est parfaitement propre et Emmanuel & Yannis sont extrêmement prévenants et réactifs. La petite plage au bout du jardin était déserte en ce début de juillet. Prévoir quand même des chaussures pour éviter les petits cailloux et les oursins."
