"Wonderful place for a holiday. Feels great when something is better than expected. The owner is the perfect host too, cheerful, attentive but not intrusive. Thought the view and pool were fantastic and made the unseasonal heat wave very comfortable. Servicing was regular too. Very happy with our stay."

"Very pretty views from the balconies, fantastic pool, very clean, good shower. The owner lives on-site and happy to help if requested. She booked a taxi for us to a neighbouring town and was always very friendly when we bumped into her. This is a serene location, beautiful and restful and guests are expected to maintain the wonderful calm vibe. Highly recommend it"

"It was a bit difficult to find because we arrived in Crete in the evening, it was dark by the time we drove from the Chania airport. The streets are narrow and unmarked. After that first night, we had no problems and loved the location close to beaches and restaurants. The view is amazing, the owner was always very welcoming and friendly."

The property is in a great location looking out over the bay and is well catered for in terms amenities but there is a hill to climb up to reach it. "We had a wonderful stay at the Pegasos Maisonettes, on arrival we received a very warm welcome from the owner who helped us with our luggage and showed us to our maisonette. The maisonette was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need for a great stay, the beds were very comfortable and each room was very spacious, also had the addition of 3 balconies. Also a lovely clean pool and sunbeds and parasols."

The views from the apartment & terraces are spectacular, especially at sunset. We were very well looked after by the owner who greeted us upon arrival & we received several emails from the hosts who were keen to see that we were happy & that all was well. It is as good as it looks, probably better."

We enjoyed our stay very much at Pegasos Maisonettes. The apartments are very modern and clean. The view from the balcony was beautiful. A short walk down to the town and there are many little shops and seaside restaurants. We loved our stay in Almirida and would definitely stay there again. You were very helpful with our reservations and by phone when we arrived in Crete. - May 2008
