We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Karma and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in Crete.
The villa is beautiful, spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The private pool was fantastic and quickly became the highlight of our days. The surrounding mountain scenery is stunning and offers a level of peace and privacy that is hard to find elsewhere.
Communication with TheHotel.gr and the team was excellent throughout our stay. They were always friendly, responsive, and happy to help with any questions we had. Their hospitality made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.
A special thanks also to the owner, who gave us a warm welcome and was always very friendly whenever we met him. We enjoyed our conversations with him and immediately felt at home. It was clear that he takes great pride in maintaining the villa and helping guests enjoy their stay.
The location was perfect for us: quiet and surrounded by nature, while still allowing easy access to beaches, villages, and restaurants in the wider Chania region. The road leading to the villa is a little adventurous at first, but you quickly get used to it and it becomes part of the charm of staying in such a unique and secluded location.
Overall, we had a fantastic holiday, enjoyed plenty of relaxation, and created many wonderful memories. We would gladly return in the future and can wholeheartedly recommend Villa Karma to other travellers.

Le séjour a été incroyable. Nous avons été super bien accompagné du début jusqu’à la fin. Emmanuel, ainsi que l’autre était très réactif à nos demandes nous recommandons vivement.

Villa karma est dans un petit village loin de l’agitation. il faut bien entendu une voiture canee =50mns et paleochora = 40 , mais pour nous la crète sans voiture c’est pas possible, y’a tant à voir. La location est nickel , avec petite piscine ( eau un peu fraîche) mais ça fait du bien. un détail quand même le chemin pour y accéder est un peu compliqué car très étroit , en pente et la 1 ère fois c’est assez impressionnant mais on s’y fait vite. on a même fini par le faire de nuit … 😉 nous avons séjourné 12 jours et nous avons eu le changement de nos draps et nettoyage de la maison deux fois. du jamais vu , c’est un vrai plus et encore merci 🙏🏻🤩. literie au top , grand lit , cuisine équipée ce qu’il faut . pour la cafetière il y a un filtre permanent 😉. a votre arrivée eau fraîche dans le frigo, un vrai plus aussi. très bon accueil. Bref , merci pour villa karma, elle a contribué à rendre notre séjour dépaysant et reposant loin de l’agitation du bord de mer. Nous avons adoré 😍

Super petite villa en montagne. On se sent paisible loin de la ville. Le logement spacieux, très propre et agréable à vivre pour un couple avec 2 enfants. L’hôte était très sympathique, bel accueil!

Our stay at Villa Karma was peaceful with the surrounding mountain views from inside the pool. The house inside was very spacious with upgrades yet maintaining an old world charm. A car is a must as it is remote but within 10 to 15 minutes from towns with taverns and shops. We recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind after a full day of exploring.

Villa Karma, Een prachtig pareltje in Kreta in het midden van olijfbomen. Alles was piekfijn in orde, de villa werd 2 maal per week gepoetst, lakens en handdoeken werden vernieuwd. De communicatie verliep zeer vlot met de eigenaar, we werden verwend met lekkere biertjes en fruit. Van Yannis en Emmanuel kregen we vele leuke tips, lekkere adresjes... De smalle weg naar de villa hebben we vermeden...onze auto hebben we aan de rand van de ingangsweg geplaatst. Dit verblijf was voor ons fantastisch...een echte aanrader voor iedereen die houdt van rust, warmte, zon...

Endroit magnifique avec tout ce qu'il faut. Propriétaire très attentionné. En effet, nous sommes arrivés vers 23h (retard avion) et l'hôte avait acheté de quoi nous restaurer. Il n'a pas hésité à prendre de son temps pour nous conseiller sur les différents sites à visiter. Nous le remercions beaucoup ainsi qu'Emmanuel et Yanis. Véhicule indispensable. Tavernes à faire à proximité (Eleas thea❤️). La Canée est à 30 min en voiture. À refaire sans hésitation.

Villa Karma is a wonderful villa in a magnificent location! As they describe, the track to the villa is tricky & steep so we parked our hire car on the road at the top. The owner was so helpful bringing our bags up & down the track & helping us with any needs we had. The air con is fantastic & the villa is perfect in every way !!! I’d highly recommend especially if you want some peace & privacy watching the eagles while you cool off in the pool with the BBQ going ! Great spot to go up the mountains or across to Elafonissi or Falassarna beaches & not far to Platanias … you do need a hire car here to get around as they recommend & the hosts were super helpful in providing me with details of hire car companies which delivered ! Easy ! Wonderful place … just go ! Thank you x

La maison est très agréable. Il y fait bon vivre. Elle est simple et efficace. Nous avons pu chauffer la piscine, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. La vue sur les montagnes est magnifique. Il y fait beaucoup plus frais que dans les grandes villes. C’est vrai que le petit chemin pour aller à la maison est surprenant la première fois mais on s’y fait très vite ! Les hôtes sont très gentils et très réactifs. Les tavernes à côté sont excellentes. Je recommande.

Die Unterkunft entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Nur mit Auto zu erreichen und in einem sehr ruhigen Bergdorf. In der Unterkunft war alles vorhanden was man braucht und der Gastgeber war außerordentlich freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Die Villa Karma ist einfach zauberhaft. Sie versprüht den gesamten Charme eines authentischen griechisch-kretanischen Hauses, ganz ohne modernen Schnickschnack – und genau das macht ihren besonderen Reiz aus. Der Ort ist ruhig und friedlich, und der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist schlichtweg atemberaubend. Der Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein, und die Abende dort werden unvergesslich bleiben. Der Verwalter des Hauses, ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – bei Fragen oder Problemen steht er sofort zur Seite. Das Haus wird stets von einer netten Dame sauber gehalten, was definitiv ein großer Pluspunkt ist. Der Weg zum Haus ist etwas eng und erfordert von geübten Autofahrern etwas Aufmerksamkeit, doch er ist problemlos zu bewältigen. Es gibt zudem die Möglichkeit, oben an der Straße zu parken. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön auch an Emmanuel & Yannis für die unkomplizierte Buchung, ohne die es wir nicht das Haus gefunden hätten. Danke:-)))))

The house is situated in the mountains and resembles a typical Cretan place surrounded by olive trees. The house is very clean and spacious, with an infinity pool overlooking the area. Fantastic spot to be, absolutely gorgeous. Communication with Emmanuel & Yannis was brilliant, before and during the stay and the owner came to let us in, showed us around and was very nice, too. we were welcomed with a few things in the fridge including his own olive oil and honey. Can only recommend the place!
