The location is perfect for exploring the mountains and foothills of the lefki ora, the village has a lovely taverna next to a pretty river and natural spring, and you can drive to Skines or Chania quickly if you need anything extra."

This was our second time staying at this beautifully situated cottage in Meskla. We once again thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor area, with its lovely terrace that invites you to sunbathe and relax, the fantastic fireplace, and the barbecue area with its lovely table and benches for sitting and eating outside. Communication via WhatsApp was, as always, quick, reliable, and helpful; you feel like you're in good hands. The pool is also a dream... we'll definitely be back... For anyone who wants to truly unwind, this is the perfect home away from home for a relaxing vacation. 10/10

Wir hatten als Familie einen großartigen Aufenthalt in der Villa Roxani Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet. Neben dem erfrischenden Pool ist die vollwertig ausgestattete Outdoor-Küche ein echtes Highlight – es gibt sogar einen Pizzaofen! Die ruhige Lage im Dorf Meskla ist perfekt für Erholung abseits der Touristenströme und auch etwas kühler als an der Küste. Für Einkäufe und Ausflüge benötigt man unbedingt ein Auto, der nächste, echte Supermarkt ist nicht fußläufig erreichbar. Im Dorf gibt es aber Restaurants; mit einem kleinen Spaziergang erreicht man z. B. die Taverna Halaris, wunderschön unter Bäumen gelegen und mit preiswertem, authentischem kretischen Essen.

Notre séjour à la Villa Roxani était parfait ! Des instructions claires pour notre arrivée, un groupe de discussion avec des recommandations de visites, restaurants, et permettant de répondre rapidement à toutes nos questions ( sans compter l’amabilité de nos interlocuteurs ! ). La location correspondait en tout point à la description. La piscine, la terrasse et la cuisine d’été sont des vrais plus ! Le lieu est certes excentré de la Canée mais permet dépaysement et calme. Nous recommandons vivement et reviendrons les yeux fermés !

Was een geweldig verblijf, met een adembenemend zicht, op de heuvels van Meskla! Zeer attente host, was altijd beschikbaar voor eender welke vraag. De buitenkeuken is volledig uitgerust. Zeer ruim buitenterras met zalig zwembad en een praktische buitendouche. Barbecue en pizzaoven zijn een grote meerwaarde. Tot in de puntjes uitgerust (kruiden, wcpapier…) en verzorgd, een echte aanrader! (Sidenote: soms wat geblaf van de hond van de buren vanuit de grote kamer te horen, oordopje kan handig zijn, dit is niet het geval id andere kamer!) samengevat: heerlijk verblijf, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!!!!! Dankuwel!

Heel fijn plekje om te verblijven. Alles is voorradig. De ouders van de host verblijven boven de vakantiewoning. Dit zijn 2 hartelijke mensen! ❤️ we zullen hen missen.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Roxani. The villa was clean and comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Lovely quiet location in the foothills which is ideal if like us you want to be away from the crowds. Host was very responsive to any questions and set up a group chat a few days before arrival with detailed instructions and useful information. Would definitely stay again.

Le logement est magnifique. Très bien équipé, moderne, en bon état. Climatisation très efficace. Wifi parfait. L’endroit est isolé donc vraiment très calme. L’espace est grand, sécurisant un espace pour chacun. Le jardin et piscine donnant sur la montagne sont reposants. Tout est parfait, rien a redire. L’hôte lance un groupe what s app au début du séjour, ce qui permet de communiquer facilement. Nous avons passé une super semaine de vacances avec nos deux enfants de 5 et 7 ans. Super plus un grand parc aquatique à 20 minutes de voiture !

I’m so glad that I found this place when we searched the internet for places to stay, in the beginning of this year. Our expectations were high, due to the beautiful pictures in the add, but never could we believe that it could be better. But it was! My god, all four of us, 11 year old son, 17 year old daughter, me and my husband 48-50, we just stood with our mouths wide open and was like ”what!? Is this for real??” And it was. Perfection it was. We work as teachers, and this was Exactly the kind of place we needed to come to, for letting our brains rest - totally. The house, the nature and all the environment. The quietness, only bird song for the ears. This was the best week we’ve ever had on a vacation. For our hearts, minds and souls. Thank you!
