Vi hadde en fantastisk ferie i Emmanuel og Yannis Elithos villa Huset var som på bildene, og det var vakkert! med et nydelig svømmebasseng. Stort kjøkken og vakre soverom inkludert bad. Det eneste er at huset ligger avsidesliggende, og du trenger en bil for å komme deg noe sted. Vår mottakelse av verten Eirini var fantastisk! Hun var veldig vennlig, og hvis det var problemer eller andre ting, var ho der for oss med en gang. Kommunikasjonen med Emmanuel og Yannis gikk også supert, det fantes en løsning på alt.

We are a family of 5 and stayed at the lovely Elithos villa for 10 nights. We have been visiting Crete annually since 2016 and always rent a villa and have stayed in various locations across the island. This villa is located near Vryses, a small quiet town with many locals, it is a 2 min drive down to the nearest bakery, cafe and supermarket or about a 10m walk. Being near Vryses is a really nice location to explore the island, we drove to the south coast and visited beaches and the Kourtaliotiko gorge, you are close to Rethymon and very near to Vryses is the larger town of Georgioupoli where you have a good range of restaraunts, shops, supermarkets. There are very nice family friendly beaches here and are well shielded from windy conditions.
The owner met us on arrival and left a lovely basket of goodies, the pool area is really well laid out and setup. We did have an issue with an umbrella breaking from strong wind, but a replacement was installed on the same day and we were thankful for the fast response. The BBQ area was really enjoyed, charcoal and utensils were all provided and we sat out several nights and ate a lovely BBQ (meat from a local butcher). The villa has everything you would need, board games, the A/C is all new and works excellently, all cooking utensils, the WIFI was of a good quality and overall we had a fabulous stay. The owner kindly communicated well when it came time for a weekly clean. Having rented over 15 villas in our time on the island of Crete, this is certainly up there as one of our favourites. We would stay here again and I think that says it all.
