  • "Emmanuel and Yannis were amazing hosts and we really appreciated Maria's help as well. The views of Falasarna Beach were spectacular from every window in the villa, and they were plentiful. The location was perfect to visit Chania, Balos Beach and Elafonisi Beach all within reasonable driving distances. We loved the villa's layout. It was perfect for the 4 of us traveling together. Upon our arrival, we found a freshly baked delicious spinach pie and some local pastries that they had left for us. These were more than welcome since we had a very late arrival (due to ferry delays). So thoughtful! The villa is within walking distance to 2 restaurants and a short drive to many others, grocery store, bakery and a pharmacy. We also cooked in their fully equipped kitchen and bbq'd. Don't think about it...just book it!"

The equipment of the house is complete (various types of coffee maker, independent air conditioning in every room, mosquito nets, quality gas BBQ, etc.). The nearby beach is very nice (can be reached by car)."

One of the best Airbnb's views I ever had. The hosts were excellent communicating from the moment we made the reservation. Lots of recommendations on how to get there, places to eat, what to do, where to find groceries. Everything we needed. The photos can't capture how beautiful the view is from this property. I hope I can come back again. Five stars, amazing!

This amazing villa is even better than the photos - spacious, spotlessly clean and beautiful. The surrounding area is breathtaking, very authentically Greek, away from crowds of tourists, but within easy reach of the beach, restaurants and places to see.
The views are unbeatable - we will miss those sunsets! Hope to return. Thank you for having us 😍

Luxurious villa with beautiful view of the sea especially the infinity pool. The Bonsai Villa is gorgeous as in pictures. Everything worked well. The owner greeted us and responded promptly to our questions/requests. We went to beach clubs recommended by the hosts and like them. Flalassarna beach’s scenery is so beautiful and its crystal clear water was inviting us to swim in. The water’s temp was not cold in late May. We ate at some restaurants recommended by the hosts and they are very good. We definitely would like to stay in Bonsai villa again if we visit this area again.

Sehr tolle Gastgeber mit einer netten und hilfreiche Kommunikation. Das Haus ist wie auf den Fotos. Der Pool ist das absolute Highlight, groß und eine angenehme Tiefe. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal der Anlage ist ebenfalls sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.

Unforgettable, beautiful, perfect place. Everything was just as described. Memories forever. The ONLY feedback I would give is just to let people know what to expect, that the parking is very steep and a bit scary for American drivers, especially in an underpowered VW van!! Spend money on your rental vehicles, folks! It’s 100 percent worth it. I promise. :)

Beautiful, clean and well equipped villa overlooking the gorgeous Falassarna beach and sunset! Truly a slice of paradise. The kids loved the private infinity swimming pool. Even though it was set in a very peaceful and natural setting, we had all the modern comforts (strong AC, excellent water pressure, plentiful hot water for family of 6, modern kitchen/appliances). Considering the dreamy view, the villa location was very convenient - 5 minute walk to a delicious restaurant (taverna mouvrakia) with amazing view of the sunset, 5 minute drive to the lovely and equipped Falassarna beach, 10 min to Kissamos port to catch the Balos tour/ferry! Feel very blessed to have the opportunity to enjoy and explore western Crete in a beautiful villa! Everything is even better in person.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison qui était parfaitement conforme à la description. Très propre, bien équipée et agréable à vivre, elle a largement répondu à toutes nos attentes. Les hôtes ont été particulièrement accueillants, disponibles et réactifs tout au long de notre séjour, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus fluide et agréable. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésitation et y reviendrons avec plaisir si l’occasion se présente !

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt mit unserer Familie in der Villa Elia mit atemberauben Sonnenuntergängen über dem für uns schönsten Strand in Kreta und Europa. Die Villa an sich verfügt über alle nötige Infrastruktur wie gut ausgestatteter Küche, 3 Badezimmer und sogar einen Aussenessbereich und Grill, Frühstück mit Meerblick war ein Traum. Der Infinitipool war ebenfalls wunderschön. Die Besitzer Vagia und ihre Familie waren zudem sehr nett und hilfsbereit in allen Lagen, besten Dank hiefür auch noch einmal für die netten Überraschungen miit dem Wein und hausgemachten Kuchen. Wir feuens uns schon sehr bald wieder in den Blue Horizon Villas Urlaub machen zu können. Beste Grüße Fabian G. und Familie

This villa is fantastic!! The views and the sunset were unbeatable and the infinity pool overlooking the sea was divine. Emmanuel and Yannis and the owner were the best hosts - so quick to respond and friendly. The Cretan hospitality may be the best in the world. I highly recommend Villa Daphne!

Emmanuel and Yannis were amazing hosts and we really appreciated Maria's help as well. Prior to arriving, they sent us a slew of things to see and do in the area. The views of Falasarna Beach were spectacular from every window in the villa, and they were plentiful. The location was perfect to visit Chania, Balos Beach and Elafonisi Beach all within reasonable driving distances. We loved the villa's layout. It was perfect for the 4 of us traveling together. Everyone had a room and ensuite bathroom and there was a powder room on the main floor. Upon our arrival, we found a freshly baked delicious spinach pie and some local pastries that they had left for us. These were more than welcome since we had a very late arrival (due to ferry delays). So thoughtful! Emmanuel and Yannis were terrific hosts. They were extremely responsive and very helpful from the time we booked and throughout our stay. This is a great villa, which looks just like the photos. Three basic but very comfortable bedrooms. Good outdoor dining and relaxing by the pool. Beautiful views overlooking the sea and for watching the sunset. It was a great location: Less than 10 minutes drive to Falassarna beach, Kissamos port, a couple of supermarkets and several very good restaurants. We really appreciated all of the personal touches and hosts who went the extra mile to make it a great stay!
