The place was perfect for enjoying local beach and Kalyves town. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures. The large bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was working, hot water was always available with electric heater. Neighborhood is very quiet, only other guests sharing the courtyard. Washing machine is available and was working very well. The town is small, connection to Chania is hourly and bus stop is 20 minute walk to the main road. Better hire a car or scooter for exploring neighborhood.
Emmanuel & Yannis are not the owners but local travel agents who manage multiple site in the region. Communication with them was very easy, they write in good English and are always available. They created a group chat for me and responded very quickly and were truly helpful with all my questions.
The place and the service were very good, I would truly recommend this apartment and Emmanuel & Yannis for anyone. I hope to use their service again in the future. Efharisto, yasas!

Mit zwei kleinen Kindern war die Terasse im Hof sehr praktisch und sehr entspannend. Schön renoviert. Freundliche und Hilfsbereite Gastgeberinnen und gute Lage nicht weit vom Strand und Parkplätzen... Es fehlt an fast nichts. Evtl ein Schneidbrett oder Brotmesser wäre höchstens noch praktisch gewesen...

I had a great stay at this apartment. Great location, close to the beach and the bus stop to Chania. I stayed here in winter, so things were quiet and peaceful. The main room had four big windows which let in a lot of light. The main room also had access to a balcony. The apartment is in an enclosed courtyard, so there is privacy.

Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es ist sehr ruhig und ideal für ein Paar oder eine bis zu vierköpfige Familie. Auch der Ort Kalyves hat uns sehr gefallen, da er klein ist und dennoch alles da ist was man braucht. Aufgrund des Wasserreichtums ist Kalyves eine der wenigen grünen und pflanzenreichen Gegenden der Insel und ein guter Standort für diverse Ausflüge. Besonders schön war das Café am Fluss.... Der Kontakt mit Yannis, Emmanuel und Maria war einwandfrei. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich!

Just returned from a 10 day stay. The apartment was exactly as described and shown. It’s spotless, lovely furniture, great location and all the important things work very well, A/C , Shower, bed comfortable etc. Host left us some wine, cake and grapes, which was very kind. Yannis & Emmanuel (and Maria) were excellent. They set up a social chat group with great information and clear instructions on entry, arranged taxi’s both ways for us. Nothing went wrong, so we didn’t need to contact them hardly at all, but when we did, they responded almost immediately on the group chat. Overall, a lovely relaxing hassle free trip.
