We just spent 6 glorious days at Epavlis Akrotiri. The house is great but the best part was the outside area by the pool where we spent almost all our time. The kids pool was perfect for our 1 and 3 year olds and the fountain was a big hit. Emmanuel and Yannis are beyond helpful and do everything to make your stay perfect. You definitely need a car to get to anywhere. Supermarket is not too far and beaches nearby. The house is exactly as shown.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa is spacious and has comfortable bedrooms, and we loved spending time on the veranda and the various balconies with their beautiful views. The garden is large and wonderful to wander around in. And of course, we can’t forget the swimming pool, fantastic! The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, and someone regularly came by to clean, which was very much appreciated. The surroundings are wonderfully peaceful, yet within half an hour you can be enjoying the lively atmosphere of Chania or other nearby towns. All in all, we had a wonderful time!

We had an amazing stay! Yannis and Emmanuel were exceptional hosts who went above and beyond with their communication, making check in and our entire stay effortless. Their hospitality truly made us feel welcome, and we appreciated all of the thoughtful touches throughout our visit. The property was beautiful, comfortable, and exactly as described. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Yannis and Emmanuel, for helping make our trip so memorable!

From five minutes after booking until the day after we returned home to the UK, Yannis and Emmanuel were exceptional hosts. Their communication, attention to detail, and genuine care made the whole experience effortless.
The villa is even better than the photos. We stayed as a family of 10, including three young children and a grandparent, and the layout was perfect offering both privacy and fantastic spaces to come together. The grounds, gardens, and pools are immaculate, and the maintenance and housekeeping team were always friendly and professional.
The location is ideal for exploring the Chania region and western Crete. With the hire car arranged by the hosts, stunning beaches, supermarkets, and Chania Old Town were all within easy reach.
The views are incredible truly 11/10. We also met the owner, Mr Costas, who built the villa as a family home, and the quality of the design and finishes is outstanding.
One of the best family holidays we've ever had.

What a perfect holiday! The views of the ocean, mountain ranges, and the glorious Cretan sunset were the cherry on top of an already stunning villa, while Emmanuel and Yannis were the most attentive and helpful hosts we’ve ever stayed with, ensuring our trip went as smoothly as possible. The villa and pool looked exactly as shown in the photos, and our group of eight had a fantastic time enjoying everything it had to offer. It says a lot about the place when the only inconvenience we encountered was the lack of chopping boards! All in all, a pretty perfect stay — we’d come back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!

The Villa was great, a great Pool, a bbq area and every bathroom has it's own bathroom. Everywhere blends and good functioning AC.
The service from the staff of thehotel.gr was great, they asked every day if everything was allright.
This was a great vacation and really worth the money.

I had a great stay at this villa! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with, check-in was a breeze. The location was perfect! close to everything I needed. I really appreciated the little touches, like fresh towels and coffee, and cleaning supplies, I would definitely stay here again!
