While staying in Crete, it is always advisable to travel around as much as you can to explore the beauties of nature, the sights and history of this special island. Furthermore, a tour to the lake of Kournas, Margarites traditional village and museum, Matala, Agia Galini or even to the idyllic island of Santorini (cruise once per week directly from Rethymno) can be arranged.
