Seitan Limania
Seitan Limania beach, also called as Stefanou beach, is located 22 km northeast of Chania, in a narrow sea inlet at the east side of Akrotiri peninsula. The tiny unique beach with fine pebbles and sand is found in a very secluded spot, well-hidden and unorganized. It is naturally shaped between steep cliffs of the peninsula offering an amazing view and it is well protected from waves.
Seitan Limania beach used to be a secret beach visited only by very few people who had discovered its beauty, whereas it became famous from 2010 after the asphalt road reached the place. Especially during the high peak season the beach is mostly crowded. However, accessing the beach is rather challenging, as there is a narrow steep path for about 15 minutes from the parking lot leading to the beach, so trainers are highly recommended.
