This stay in Sfinari is just heavenly. Everyone—from the Airbnb hosts to the local owners — was so communicative from the start. The owners went out of his way to come meet us even though our arrival time changed, and they had prepared an incredible moussaka, salad, cake, and cookies! The home is absolutely stunning and very well supplied. The pool is dreamy, and the beds are super comfortable. The owners had also put together a great list of recommendations for things to do on the west side. Both the owners and hosts also went out of their way to help us track down some more unusual souvenirs we were seeking! All in all, this is an INCREDIBLE stay and we can’t wait to return.

Villa Levande is an outstanding property. Very private and relaxing. The pool and the view from the pool were amazing. The hosts were very responsive and kind, even providing a delicious home cooked meal on our arrival. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting western Crete.

Perfect for a relaxing holiday. The house, views. location and the lovely hosts all contributed to a fantastic holiday for our family. The house itself is spotless, modern and has everything you would need, the picturs dont do it justice. The views at sunset are truly incredible. The owners are extremely responsive and added several unexpected treats to our stay including Eleni's delicious home cooked food! The local village, beach and tavernas are in walkable distance and the local shop is stocked well but make sure to do large shops in one of the bigger towns. There are lots of good restaurants within a short drive but be sure to read the guestbook at the house for recommendations.

We were lucky to spend two wonderful weeks in this beautiful villa. Upon arrival, we met the owners who showed us around and had prepared a delightful moussaka and Greek salad for us. The owners were incredibly responsive to all our questions during our stay and were very friendly. We loved the house and its location; it was always a pleasure to return and relax by the pool after a long day out. We visited several beaches during our stay, and Falassarna was our favorite—only a 20-minute drive from the villa. There is a small market in the village, so we recommend doing your bigger shopping at the larger supermarket in Kissamos. There’s also a smaller supermarket and a lovely bakery in Platanos, about a 15-minute drive from the villa. Our two weeks at the villa flew by, and we wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend this villa to anyone seeking a peaceful and quiet vacation.

Fabulous hosts, great communication, very responsive to any questions we had, beautiful location-quiet, well equipped with everything you need and a super pool; a few nice restaurants in Falassarna, the beach there is great, has water sports equipment for rent,which is approximately 15 -20 minutes away and well stocked supermarket 10mins away…

Yes, all of us (friends-girls + 1 baby) would totally recommend this place! We were here at the beginning of April. We had an amazing time, after which we were feeling so relaxed. We loved our stay at Villa Levande and felt at home and relaxed right away. We were greeted by our hosts with a delicious traditional Cretan meal and provided with wonderful recommendations of things to do in the area. The Villa is absolutely stunning with olive groves and the aroma of lavander all around, you can’t fault it! While there’s not a whole lot to do in Sfinari itself, there are a few great tavernas and restaurants where you will be well looked after and get to experience a peaceful and traditional side of Crete. You’re also just a drive away from some of the most stunning beaches Crete has to offer. The roads to get to the villa including the villa’s driveway were definitely a kind of winding road we hadn’t experienced before but any stress disappears as soon as you arrive so my advice would be to be prepared but don’t let it deter you. Overall, we only stayed for a short four nights, we wished we had longer, we would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Villa Levande. The villa is really perfect, very comfortable and clean. The view is incredible and the location is wonderful. We saw the most beautiful sunsets every evening! If you are looking for peace and calm, this is the place! We loved to watch the sheep and goats in the mountains around us. At night, you can gaze at millions of stars! It just takes 2 minutes by car to the little village of Sfinari, where you can find some beach taverns and a small supermarket. And in only 15 minutes driving along the coast you can get to Falassarna with the most beautiful beaches. The owners are very very kind and we really appreciated their hospitality. Villa Levande has everything you need for a perfect holiday. We will return as soon as possible.
