Villa Levande i Sfinari, Chania

Villa Levande is a hospitable and cozy villa with 2 bedrooms and an attic bedroom, with gorgeous sea views and a private pool. It is located in the peaceful, traditional village of Sfinari, at about 1100 meters from the sandy/pebble beach. The nearest tavern and a mini market can be found in very short walking distance.

The modern style Villa Levande is about 100 sq m and it has two floors designed in a beautiful way. The pool floor feaures an open plan area with a living room corner and a fully-equipped kitchen, which opens to the swimming pool area. One bedroom with a queen size bed and a common shower bathroom are provided on the pool floor as well.

An interior staircase leads to the top floor, where one bedroom with twin beds which can be converted to a queen size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a cabin shower, as well as a furnished terrace are offered. An attic is also provided on this floor, with two more additional single beds.

The sea view courtyard of the villa offers a lovely private pool of 28 sq m with sun loungers, a few shaded spaces and an outdoor dining table. Free wireless internet is provided. Air condition, dishwasher and washing machine are also available.

Sfinari is a tranquil village, ideal for family holidays next to nature with a lovely sandy/pebble beach. Guests can find a few mini markets and taverns in the center of the village, about 300 meters from the villa and a few more seaside tavernas and restaurants in front of the sea. A few big supermarkets can be found in the town of Kissamos, 18 km away. The sandy beach of Falassarna with a very beautiful sunset is 15 km away, the famous Balos lagoon is 24 km away, and the unique tropical style beach of Elafonisi is 30 km away.

We can help you walk along the E4 path, which passes through the village of Sfinari and goes up to the unique beach of Elafonisi, we can arrange a wine taste experience with local wines by the friendly owners in the villa, or we can arrange a special Yoga course with lovely sea views in the courtyard area of the villa.

I could not rate this property more highly, we wanted a quiet property near the sea with a pool and Villa Levande delivered! The quiet village of Sfinari was delightful and locals very welcoming.
The property is well located about an hour from Chania airport and for the sites on the western side of Crete including some great beaches.
Both our hosts and the staff of TheHotel.gr were very attentive, with loads of information and suggestions of what to do for our vacation. We travelled with two children who loved the pool and would spend hours a day in it, the property has a wonderful view over the sea for sunset which was wonderful.
With all such holidays it’s the little things that make you feel truly relaxed and welcome and the owners of the property managed this really well. From meeting us at the property with an evening meal to following up with us to see if we needed anything during the week, was a lovely touch.
If your looking for a property with a pool by the sea then look no further!

We wanted a week-long break where we could just switch off - this beautiful villa was perfect. The house is wonderful - very clean and pretty and with everything you need. The rooms are a good size, beds comfy, there's loads of sofa space, plenty of hot water, window screens to keep out insects. The outside area is lovely. We lounged by the pool and floated on lilos looking at the amazing view. Swallows skimmed the water a few feet from us - completely magical. The planting around the property is wonderful, with fresh herbs and geraniums, the smell of lavender, and at night the most gorgeous jasmine scent. All of this would have been enough to make a perfect break, but on top we met two wonderful hosts - kind, generous, knowledgeable fun. There was homemade food and drinks waiting when we arrived, and more when we left. They invited us to join a village feast one evening and we had a fantastic time. This stay was really beyond perfect, and we'd love to return - thank you so much E&G!
