Villa Marilia van Sfakaki, Rethymno

Villa Marilia is a traditional 2-bedroom Villa with a private pool of about 20 sqm. Nestled in the peaceful village of Pagkalochori, it is situated near the charming villages of Asteri and Sfakaki, approximately 11 km east of the picturesque town of Rethymno. At about 1200 meters away, you can enjoy the famous tavern Poliou House and a mini-market, while the sandy beach is 2 kilometers away.

The ground floor offers a spacious open plan space, featuring a cozy living room corner, a dining table, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Additionally, a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine are provided for your convenience.

A broad spiral staircase leads to the upper floor, where two bedrooms and another common bathroom with a bathtub are situated. The master bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom offers two single beds.

A private swimming pool of about 20 sqm is available. It is encircled by a stone terrace and a beautiful garden with sun chairs and umbrellas. Additionally, a stone barbecue is at your disposal.

Three air-conditioning units are included, with one unit located in the open-plan area and an additional unit in each bedroom.

Side street parking on the public road outside the Villa is available. A car is needed for your stay so that you can easily explore the nearby beach at about 2 km away, the nearby villages of the area, and the town of Rethymno at about 11 km away.

"Wij hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad i. Villa Marilia. Ontzettend aardige meneer die ons verwelkomde. Koelkast was gevuld met allerlei lekkers en we kregen vers geplukte sinaasappels, citroenen en olijfolie. Zwembad werd netjes schoongemaakt. Leuke omgeving. Veel te doen. Aanrader!"

Very close to Rethymno which is a lovely town to visit. Great spot if you like hiking as well. We had a wonderful stay at this villa in Crete. The place is beautiful and absolutely worth the money. The villa has everything you need: two comfortable bedrooms upstairs, a full kitchen and a TV area downstairs, and a lovely pool to relax by. The location is perfect — very convenient to reach the city and the coastline, while still being just far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel peaceful. It was a unique and truly enjoyable experience. Many thanks to the hosts for making our stay so memorable.

Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub auf Kreta für unsere Familie. Die Villa Marilia als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge (wir hatten einen Mietwagen) ist einfach perfekt gelegen. Nahe Rethymno und doch fernab des allgemeinen Trubels. Bereits kurz nach unserer Ankunft haben wir uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Der Sonnenaufgang mit Blick ins Tal war einfach genial. Der Privatpool...was will man mehr. Der Support von Maria, Yannis und Emmanuel ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Villa selbst beinhaltet alles was eine Familie benötigt. Wir vergeben eine 10/10 und kommen sehr gern wieder. P.S. Wir hatten jeden Tag 3 Katzen zu Besuch. Wir haben sie Blacky 1, Blacky 2 (müssen Geschwister sein - solche Ähnlichkeit) und Gandalf. So süß. Wir werden die 3 vermissen.
