Villa Melini i Sfakaki, Rethymno

Villa Melini is a traditional 2-bedroom Villa with a private pool of about 30 sqm. Nestled in the peaceful village of Pagkalochori, it is situated near the charming villages of Asteri and Sfakaki, approximately 11 km east of the picturesque town of Rethymno. At about 1200 meters away, you can enjoy the famous tavern Poliou House and a mini-market, while the sandy beach is 2 kilometers away. A car is needed for your stay to explore the nearby villages and the long beach of north Rethymno.

The ground floor offers a spacious open plan space, featuring a cozy living room corner, a dining table, and a just renovated fully-equipped kitchen. Additionally, a just renovated bathroom with a shower and a washing machine are provided for your convenience.

A broad spiral staircase leads to the upper floor, where two bedrooms and another common bathroom with a bathtub are situated. The master bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom offers two single beds.

A private swimming pool of about 30 sqm is available. It is encircled by a stone terrace and a beautiful garden with sun chairs and umbrellas. Additionally, a stone barbecue is at your disposal.

Three air-conditioning units are included, with one unit located in the open-plan area and an additional unit in each bedroom.

Side street parking on the public road outside the Villa is available. Please note that a car is recommended so that you can easily explore the nearby beach at about 2 km away, the nearby villages of the area, and the town of Rethymno at about 11 km away.

Emmanuel & Yannis communication was amazing and nothing was too much trouble and when we requested some dishwasher detergent and a dish cloth it was provided straight away. Wir haben eine wunderbare Kurzwoche in der Villa Melini verbracht. Vorab melden sich Emmanuel & Yannis mit Infos und tollen Ausflugtips. Dies hat mir die Reise als Mutter mit Tochter sehr erleichtert, auch den Mietwagen habe ich über einen Link der beiden gebucht. Nach unserer Ankunft waren wir überwältigt. Die Villa Melini ist wunderschön und der Garten ein Traum. Es gibt Limetten- und Granatapfelbäume und Kaktusfeigen. Alles ist liebevoll gepflegt. Leckere Restaurants sind auch fußläufig erreichbar nach einer ca. 15 min. Wanderung. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben.

Lovely villa in a quiet location. A short drive to local shops, restaurants and beaches. The owners were there when we arrived and they were lovely (even bringing us some fresh fruit). Yannis and Emmanuel were so helpful and responsive.
