Fortino Villa i Tersanas, Chania

Fortino Villa is a hospitable traditional villa with a master bedroom and an open attic with one more bed, about 1100 meters from the lovely sandy beach of Tersanas in a place of great natural beauty, among olive trees.

One master bedroom with a king size bed and an attic with a queen size bed are provided. A sea view private pool with sun loungers and a few nice outdoor dining areas are offered. A mini-market and two very nice taverns can be found in short walking distance. The picturesque town of Chania is about 11 km away.

Fortino Villa offers an open plan area with a dining table and an open fully-equipped kitchen. Vitro-ceramic hotplates, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, toaster are provided.

The open plan area leads to the master bedroom with a king size bed and an office table. A wooden staircase also leads from the open plan area to an open attic with a queen size bed. One common bathroom with a shower cabin is offered.

All guests can enjoy a private pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. A traditional wood burning oven, and a few outdoor dining areas are available. Free wireless internet and air-condition are provided.

Fortino Villa is equipped with all modern amenities that guarantee a sense of autonomy, comfort and luxury. Parking in the plot of the villa, luxury linen, beach towels, beauty set, sleepers, bathrobes, air conditioning, TV LCD, Wi-Fi (free of charge), washing machine, ironing board and iron are offered.

"The villa was lovely. The outdoor space and pool were particularly good. The pool was a bit larger than we were expecting - it was all very private and surrounded by fences, with a great view of the coast. We met the owner on a few occasions. She was a very nice lady and couldn't do enough to help us out. Overall, a fantastic holiday."

"We loved this place. The owner met us at 9pm when we arrived to show us around and was very attentive and available. She had coffee, bananas, orange juice and sandwiches waiting. Two bikes were available for use. The location was great. Restaurants and beaches close by. We had a car so drove everywhere. Wish we could go back!"

Emmanuel and Yannis - absolutely perfect, great communication, organiser a massage for us by the lovely Ioanna which was 10/10. Highly recommended. Answered any queries promptly and even arranged our taxi back to the airport. Eleni - the owner, wonderful lady, helpful and kind and couldn't ask for a better person. The house was as expected - homely, traditional, quiet, well equipped. Beautiful olive oil from the gardens were left for us. My only comments for improvement - there were 3 sunbeds but only 1 of them was comfortable (the wooden one) and the cushion on top should probably be replaced as it is quite stained. The outside table has nearly disappeared because of trees over hanging - I appreciate that one of those is an olive tree and precious but the other one is not olive and it would really help if the bits over the table was cut back. However, you will enjoy your stay here - highly recommended. Thank you

Wir waren für eine Woche zu dritt (2 Erwachsene und ein Kind) auf Kreta und hatten eine großartige Zeit im Haus. Die Anlage ist sehr schön gestaltet. Große Olivenbäume und ein Feigenbaum im Hof geben Schatten und sehen wunderschön aus. Der Pool hat genau die richtige Größe und ist ein großes Plus. Der Strand mit Bootsverleih (ohne Führerschein möglich!) liegen nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Gegend ist ruhig, aber es gibt in der Nähe einen kleinen Supermarkt für alles nötige. Restaurants sind auch nicht weit entfernt. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden um selbst zu kochen. Bei Fragen konnten wir die Besitzer jederzeit anschreiben. Sie hat mit uns den Check-in organisiert und war immer erreichbar und dabei sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen (ab Flughafen Chania) um Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Es ist uns schwer gefallen nach einer Woche wieder nach Hause zu gehen. Wir würden gerne wieder dieses tolle Haus für einen Urlaub mieten.
