Fortino Villa i Tersanas, Chania

Fortino Villa is a hospitable traditional villa with a master bedroom and an open attic with one more bed, about 1100 meters from the lovely sandy beach of Tersanas in a place of great natural beauty, among olive trees.

One master bedroom with a king size bed and an attic with a queen size bed are provided. A sea view private pool with sun loungers and a few nice outdoor dining areas are offered. A mini-market and two very nice taverns can be found in short walking distance. The picturesque town of Chania is about 11 km away.

Fortino Villa offers an open plan area with a dining table and an open fully-equipped kitchen. Vitro-ceramic hotplates, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, toaster are provided.

The open plan area leads to the master bedroom with a king size bed and an office table. A wooden staircase also leads from the open plan area to an open attic with a queen size bed. One common bathroom with a shower cabin is offered.

All guests can enjoy a private pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. A traditional wood burning oven, and a few outdoor dining areas are available. Free wireless internet and air-condition are provided.

Fortino Villa is equipped with all modern amenities that guarantee a sense of autonomy, comfort and luxury. Parking in the plot of the villa, luxury linen, beach towels, beauty set, sleepers, bathrobes, air conditioning, TV LCD, Wi-Fi (free of charge), washing machine, ironing board and iron are offered.

"The villa was lovely. The outdoor space and pool were particularly good. The pool was a bit larger than we were expecting - it was all very private and surrounded by fences, with a great view of the coast. We met the owner on a few occasions. She was a very nice lady and couldn't do enough to help us out. Overall, a fantastic holiday."

"We loved this place. The owner met us at 9pm when we arrived to show us around and was very attentive and available. She had coffee, bananas, orange juice and sandwiches waiting. Two bikes were available for use. The location was great. Restaurants and beaches close by. We had a car so drove everywhere. Wish we could go back!"

Fortino Villa, was the perfect Cretan Vacation Home. The owner has fully equipped her home with literally every amenity you could need for a relaxing holiday. The private pool will have you lazing away sunny days at the villa, only emerging for food. Please note that, Greek Toilets are not equipped to flush toilet paper. This isn't specific to Eleni's home, this is particular to Greece. The plumbing just isn't suited for flushing toilet paper. A small waste basket is provided next to the toilet for waste paper. You'll get used to it. The large garden surrounding the home is filled with olives, figs, pomegranates, grapes, and a variety of fresh herbs. The most romantic dining table is set beneath a fig and olive tree, offering the most idyllic al fresco dining experience. Eleni was an incredible resource throughout our stay and we can't wait to return. We recommend Fortino Home without hesitation.

The villa was lovely. The outdoor space and pool were particularly good. The pool was a bit larger than we were expecting - it was all very private and surrounded by fences, with a great view of the coast. We met the owner on a few occasions. She was a very nice lady and couldn't do enough to help us out. We had an issue one day when the water heater failed - I informed her and she arranged for someone to fix it the next day, which was great service. Overall, a fantastic holiday.
