We spent most of the time in the villa either around the pool or at the large table at the side that was in the shade. The owner was very helpful and provided a cot and high chair for the 11-month old in our party. We would gladly return there."

Great villa with lot of space, a great pool and in an excellent location. Walking distance to restaurants, the beach and a couple of mini markets. The host was very kind and always available if needed. He was also very flexible with our early arrival and late departure.

Our stay at Golden Sea Villa was absolutely amazing. The home was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a group or family (up to 11 guests). The view of Stavros Mountain from the backyard and balcony was stunning, and we especially loved the private pool and private driveway for our car. The villa is in a great location—walking distance to Stavros Beach and a few local restaurants, and also centrally located for day trips across Crete. We easily visited Elafonisi, Balos, and Falassarna (no more than 2 hours away), and enjoyed closer beaches like Seitan Limania, Marathi, Loutraki, Kalathas, and Tersanas—within 30 minutes. Our host was super responsive and welcoming. One morning while he was there to clean the pool, we casually mentioned we had run out of sugar—and a little while later, he kindly brought some over for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture that really stood out. Highly recommend this place—beautiful, affordable, and unforgettable. 10/10!

Une villa rustique mais très spacieuse. La salle de bain du rez de chaussée est un peu petite et ancienne mais fonctionnelle. La piscine est grande et peu profonde. Les lits sont confortables. Il y a l'air conditionné partout. Il y a deux supermarket à proximité. Le propriétaire est super accessible et très réactif par message. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

We had a really great time in Crete and the stay at Emmanuel & Yannis’s listing contributed to that! The villa was clean, we had all the amenities we needed, the owner Mr Antonis was always super friendly and responded quickly. The pool area is great, the exterior is super green and private and we loved that. Definitely recommend this stay and would love to come back anytime!

This is great villa near two wonderful beaches in Stavros. The setting is lovely and the house is very spacious. We were 7 adults and 3 small children and we had more than enough room to be comfortable. There is a magnificent swimming pool at an ideal depth throughout and in a lovely setting, serviced every day by the pool attendant. We spent most of the time in the villa either around the pool or at the large table at the side that was in the shade. The owner was very helpful and provided a cot and high chair for the 11-month old in our party.
The villa is well located, a few minutes walk to the beaches and 2-3 minutes for the local mini-markets, one of which also has a good taverna next to it. We would gladly return there.

Our hosts were so helpful and we couldn’t have asked for a better service from them. The Villa was clean and had air con throughout which was a blessing for the kids after a long day at the beach and in the pool.
