Platanias Villas are a collection of seven cosy, stone-built villas, each with a private pool, just 800 metres from the sandy beach of Platanias. The lively town centre is around 1,000 metres away, with a great choice of restaurants, cafés, shops, bars, and children’s playgrounds. The picturesque town of Chania is about 11 km away.

Platanias Villas consist of two 4-bedroom villas and one 2-bedroom villa, each with a half-indoor and half-outdoor private pool, as well as four 3-bedroom villas. Two of the 3-bedroom villas feature a half-indoor and half-outdoor private pool, while the other two villas have a fully indoor private pool.

Each Platanias Villa is designed for comfort and relaxation, surrounded by Cretan nature. On the ground floor of each villa, guests can find a spacious open-plan living and dining area with a cozy lounge corner, and a fully-equipped kitchen.

Each 4-bedroom Platanias Villa offers four bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and a private en-suite bathroom. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor, with two more bedrooms on the upper floor. The upper-floor bedrooms open onto lovely balconies furnished with patio seating, which are very nice spots to relax.

The 2-bedroom Platanias Villa offers two comfortable bedrooms with king-size beds and an en-suite bathroom each. One bedroom is placed on the ground floor with easy access to the outdoor area, and a second on the upper floor with a lovely balcony.

Each 3-bedroom Platanias Villa offers three bedrooms, all with king-size beds and private en-suite bathrooms. One bedroom is located on the ground floor, while the other two bedroom are on the upper floor. Upstairs, both bedrooms open onto lovely furnished balconies, ideal for relaxing.

All bedrooms are bright, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with 22-inch flat-screen TVs, memory-foam mattresses for an exceptionally restful sleep, air conditioning, heating, bathroom towels, and hairdryers.

Each villa features a private pool and a furnished patio, along with access to a shared outdoor playground area. Pool heating is available on request for an additional 120 Euros per day, with water temperatures up to around 24°C. Free wireless internet, air conditioning, barbecue facilities, and parking space on premises are provided. Light cleaning every 2/3 days is also provided.

Platanias is a famous touristic town of Crete with many restaurants, tavernas, cafes, mini-markets, two supermarkets, bars, one pool bar, a big variety of shops, water sports, children playgrounds and mini-golfs, everything in short walking distance from Platanias Villas.

"A lovely, clean villa on a beautifully maintained private gated complex. Excellent and prompt communication with the hosts. 10-15 mins walk to the local beach and town. The beach is a busy one but very clean and plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas, excellent restaurants and bars and the town has the same plus nice shops, clothes, souvenirs and supermarkets."

It felt as though we were miles from town but it was only a few minutes walk to the beach, bars, shopping and restaurants. Everything we needed was close by. We did have to buy a few items for the place like coffee sugar soap and sponges. But they immediately repaid me for them. They are definitely top notch and we really enjoyed our time and the restaurant suggestions they gave us."

Emmanuel and Yannis were very responsive and the home was beautiful. Located in a private peaceful area. Highly recommended for larger groups like we had. Location was good with close access to Chania and some interesting sights on the north eastern part of the island.

We had a really lovely stay at caldera villas Platanias. The hotel.gr is fantastic with prompt communication and any issues. From enquiring with them about accommodation to hiring of mobility scooters and whilst holidaying there they are so helpful. The villa is ideal set amongst lovely grounds which are maintained to a high standard. Lots of indoor and outdoor space . A lovely 10 min max walk to the main road and beach past chickens, cows and lovely olive groves as well as seeing other fruits growing. Lots of restaurants and supermarket well stocked within walking distance.
The villa has a lovely half inside and outside pool with plenty of sunbeds and areas of shade when needed.
The villa owner responded and dealt with a coupe of issues outside of their control (wasps nest and a missing plug that wasn't missing) immediately. TheHotegr followed up to ensure they had been dealt with.
