Lovely secluded villa with great facilities. Villa is well equipped and the hosts were extremely accommodating and very responsive. Great Mountain Views and good amenities nearby.

Just returned from a week’s stay here the views are stunning and the villa is beautiful. Lots of lovely restaurants and beaches fairly close by. Perfect for a big family stay.

We are a family of 6 and had a wonderful stay at the villa. The pool and patio are great for lazy days. Beautiful mountain view. Many good restaurants within short driving distance.

Our very large family spent over 2 weeks in the Villa. We spent a lot of time in and around the pool (especially those of us over 70), walking to the many restaurants and the youngsters (those under 70) did several hikes. We toured the nearby ruins and made several trips to the beaches and 'big' cities. We also picked and squeezed lemons and limes from the many fruit trees on the property. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to make it an annual event. Thank you for a great place to stay! Jeff & Deb, Sarah & Sam, Scott & Sarah, Mark & Aurora, Jessica & Tristan & Beau & Shirley.

La casa è fantastica e si vede che è nuovissima. Esterni molto curati e piscina pulitissima. Interni spaziosi con ampie camere da letto. Non manca niente. Posizione fantastica sempre ventilata. Prima volta che mi capita che vengano fatte le pulizie a metá settimana. Emmanuel & Yannis ed il loro team sempre disponibili per indicazioni e suggerimenti. Sono ormai 10 anni che viaggio con Airbnb e questa è sicuramente la miglior locazione trovata. Complimenti da tutto il nostro gruppo.

Takk for et fantastisk opphold i Villa Kalyves! Vi var samlet i storfamilien, 12 personer og alle stortrivdes på stedet. Det er romslig og god plass til alle, til både lek og hvile, soling og bading. Vi brukte grillen flere kvelder og det ble mye god mat. Kort biltur til butikker og restauranter og et kjempebra utgangspunkt for turer til CHANIA og andre steder på Kreta, som vi besøkte for første gang. Det gav mersmak! Vertskapet var svært imøtekommende og hyggelige, lett å få kontakt når vi trengte det! Takk for en nydelig uke!

Great place for a family getaway. Very private yet a short drive to beaches and restaurants. Hosts have lots of recommendations and things to do and see.

First, superb communication with the hosts. They were very responsive and proactive. We didn’t actually have any needs but they checked in constantly always offering help. Emmanuel and Yannis organized our car rentals and a boat trip to Balos. That trip turned out to be the highlight of our Crete experience. We also absolutely loved Kalyves and the tavernas in Armenoi (12 min walk). To all the vacationers new to Crete: must have local wines, all of the house wines were excellent. The food is just soooo good. Highly recommend a quick ride to Aptera to check out some ancient structures. Crete and its people are truly lovely.

A beautiful villa in an excellent location. Great communication with the hosts. Stunning views and a lovely village within walking distance with cafe, taverna, delicatessen and mini market. Very highly recommended.
