My husband and I were for the first time in crete and spent 2 fun and restful weeks, happy that we chose this location and property. The house, pool and terrace were clean, very well looked after and equipped with all we needed. We enjoyed the barbecue with friends, grilled some fish my husband had caught (surprisingly a golden mackerel and a little bonito!!! unbelievable, you can book a cheap 3 hour fishing trip down in Georgioupoli). The view is absolutely stunning, a real wow factor. The location was convenient, we made nice short trips by car to Knossos (a real must see but only worth with a guide whom we luckily decided to book spontaneously at the entrance), picturesque Rethymno and the nearby lake - a turtle paradise. We enjoyed our walks to the delicious taverns which take about 30min down to Georgioupoli or a few min. within Exopoli. But the best of all were our lovely hosts, we always had our privacy and never felt disturbed but when we needed sth they were always there, spoiled us with their yummy fruits, veggies, homemade olive oil and raki:-) Felt like home, thanks to the wonderful hospitality. Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable. La maison est au calme, à 5 min en voiture de Georgiopoulis. Très bonne accueil de la propriétaire, souriante et disponible si besoin. L'agence également très disponible et elle nous a donné toutes les informations nécessaires (et plus) avant notre arrivée. Rien à redire ! merci :)

Die Buchung, Abwicklung war super.
Vor Ort hat uns die nette Besitzerin bereits erwartet und die Villa gezeigt. Etwas später bekamen wir dann noch frisch gepflügte Weintrauben gebracht.

Die Villa selbst grenzt an eine Zweite (diese war während unserer Zeit nur 2 Tage belegt) und liegt abseits vom Trubel. In den Ort Georgiopolis muss man ca. 10 min. mit dem Auto fahren. Hier findet man dann allerdings alles zu täglichen Leben.

Was uns etwas gestört hat, waren die vielen Hornissen, die um die Villa herumgeschwirrt sind. Zwar waren diese in keinster Weise aggressiv, aber man hat schon Respekt vor den großen Insekten. Eigendlich wollten die die nur Wasser...aber dafür war der Pool natürlich ideal...

Und wer Katzen mag: allerliebst die Katzenfamilie, die uns täglich besucht hat..(wenn man sie füttert, danken sie es mit Zutraulichkeit...wirklich süß)

Ohne die Hornissen würde ich der Villa eine glatte 10 geben, die eigene Terrasse mit Pool war schon traumhaft!!

Une villa attenante à une autre, mais aucune nuisance.
La piscine est très agréable, et offre une vue sans aucun vis à vis sur la colline.
La villa est très propre.
Très calme et bien ensoleillé.
La propriétaire est adorable et très accueillante.
Nous avons eu des petites demandes concernant la vaisselle et des pinces à linge ; TheHotel.gr s'en est occupé très rapidement pour nous, et nos demandes ont été satisfaites le jour même. Bravo !

Maison conforme aux photos, très propre et fonctionnelle. Situation idéale car au calme mais très près du village de Georgiopoulis où l'on trouve tout ce qu'il faut pour faire les courses, boire un verre, aller au resto ou bien faire des activités ( jet ski, quad etc ....) Propriétaires très accueillants et chaleureux.

This new house is clean and comfortable, the swimming pool with a nice view on the surrounding mountains is enjoyable during hot summer days but what we appreciated the most is the hospitality of the owners who leave very close and welcomed us very well! It is a good location to visit West of Crete. It is very quiet but Georgioupoli with its beach, bars, restaurants and supermarkets is only 5 min with car. I would recommend it for a couple with 2 kids.
