We returned home last night after a wonderful week at Geas Hous. As experienced Airbnb users, my wife and I both concluded that this is probably the best all round place that we have ever chosen. The house far exceeded our expectations in terms of size and facilities - we particularly loved the pool and the fact that with 2 balconies, 2 terraces, and even a roof terrace, there was always a choice of sitting comfortably in either sun or shade. Location wise it is 3 mins walk to the beach and there are plenty of excellent restaurants within a 15 min walk. Communication with Emmanuel and Yannis was very easy …they were always quick to respond and extremely helpful in terms of sorting out our car hire,recommending restaurants etc,and even allowing us to check out 4 hours later than the official time. The location was perfect as we wanted somewhere peaceful and quiet, rather than a bustling resort ,but you can find those within a short drive in either direction. We would love to return one day.

Excellent house and the most fantastic thing was the climate although we were there in August. The was a fantastic sea breeze on the balconies facing the beach. The beach is very pristine but unfortunately not for swimming. But quite and nice in our view.

Séjour très agréable à Tavronitis ! Le logement était très propre et bien agencé. La communication avec les hôtes etait claire et aidante pour identifier les meilleurs restaurants alentours. Merci encore!

Tavernas in walking distance to eat out. Good size kitchen with utensils and supplies (salt, pepper, oil, cling film). Very helpful information shared before arrival. Thank you.

Très propre et toutes les commodités y étaient. Cadeau de bienvenue très apprécié 😋 Bien situé pour visiter Chania, les villages de la côte entre Chania et Kissamos. Les hôtes sont vraiment serviables. Bons conseils pour activités, restaurants et accommodations autour. Je le recommande!

Sehr schönes Haus, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und viel Platz. Pool wurde am morgen täglich gereinigt, weiterer Service wurde angeboten und wir konnten bei Bedarf Gebrauch davon machen. Gastgeber haben bei Fragen sehr schnell geantwortet und während unseres Aufenthaltes ab und zu nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. In unmittelbarer Umgebung vom Haus hat es einige Tavernen, die Umgebung ist ruhig. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeit mit dem Auto einige Minuten vom Haus. Wir konnten unsere Ferien voll und ganz geniessen. Herzlichen Dank an die Vermiter:in für die Gastfreundschaft.

Die Unterkunft war großartig! Das Haus ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Das Meer 2 Minuten entfernt. Der Strand ist zwar steinig, aber im Wasser steht man auf dem Sand. Ansonsten ist ein wunderschöner Sandstrand in Platanias wenige Kilometer entfernt - auch mit Bus erreichbar.
Das Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Man hat uns sehr gut umsorgt. An einem Nachmittag haben wir auch selbstgemachtes traditionelles Gebäck in der Küche vorgefunden.
Die Lage ist etwas abseits. Die Auswahl an Tavernen allerdings groß. Unser Favorit: Taverne Anemomylos direkt am Strand, etwa 800 m von der Unterkunft entfernt. Größere Einkäufe haben wir in Platanias erledigt (Lidl oder SYN. KA).
Durch die ruhige Lage war der Erholungsfaktor groß. Wir würden diese Unterkunft immer wieder buchen.

Great view. Very convenient location to visit the town of Chania and the beautiful beaches of the prefecture. Good (but not great) restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Bakery and supermarket are 1-2 km away. We hit some hot days but with open windows we did not need A/C. The staff (both of TheHotelgr and of the property) are super friendly and helpful. The property was somewhat hard to find because not on google maps. Only downside was that the doors did not properly close.
