Manolis and his family were wonderful hosts, even bringing us fresh produce from their garden which made the trip even more special. It is the perfect location if you want some quiet away from the city but also not too far to drive to many nice sites."

"Had a wonderful stay and would recommend! The village is scenic and very quiet. The house itself had a lot of modern upgrades and was very comfortable, and the outdoor patio area was amazing! We were provided a lot of helpful links ahead of time and were given a tour and more information about the house and surrounding area upon arrival. Would go back!"

La piscine et les aménagements extérieurs sont très jolis et agréables. Le village est magnifique et beaucoup d’activités sont accessibles très proches : randonnée, jardin botanique, port vénitien de Chania, magnifiques plages… C’est l’endroit idéal pour découvrir la Crète authentique et passer d’excellentes vacances au calme et loin du tourisme de masse."

Our expectations were high, due to the beautiful pictures in the add, but never could we believe that it could be better. But it was! We work as teachers, and this was Exactly the kind of place we needed to come to, for letting our brains rest - totally. The house, the nature and all the environment. The quietness, only bird song for the ears. This was the best week we’ve ever had on a vacation. For our hearts, minds and souls. Thank you!"

Inside is very cozy in a Cretan style, but with comfy beds and amenities. Close to a gorge and a great family taverna within walking distance that is well worth a visit (or three)!"

"We spent a really memorable, beautiful week in Meskla in this wonderful house! We visited in mid April and the smell of orange blossom was amazing in the morning, and everywhere was lush and green. The location is perfect for exploring the mountains and foothills of the lefki ora, the village has a lovely taverna next to a pretty river and natural spring, and you can drive to Skines or Chania quickly if you need anything extra."
