The pool is fantastic - bigger than in the photos and we had no issues with the temperature. We really appreciated the electric awning for when we needed shade outside. "The property is spectacular and had all the amenities we expected, plus more. The pool was welcomed on the hot days, and they were very prompt with coming out when the filter stopped running. Archanes is an amazing town, with street parking all very close and Bakaliko is recommended for a wine tasting and dinner. I would stay here again in a second, and hope to return on our next trip to Crete. Highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful 2 weeks in Archanes, hosts made it very easy and always responsive if needed. Also provided lots of useful local knowledge. Archanes has great character, it feels very authentic but still with local restaurants and supermarkets accessible and catering for non Greek speakers. You do need a car as rural setting and be prepared for narrow streets and local traffic."

"The house has character within it's stone walls. You can tell from the decoration and furnishing that it was inhabited for a long time by Cretans. It works as well as a holiday house. The kitchen is stocked very well, you will find everything you need. The pool is very refreshing and the garden really quiet. The house provides a lot of space for a family of 4 or more. The location is perfect on one of the main streets in the village (next to a great bakery). "

Nous sommes tout à fait satisfaits, les propriétaires nous ont très bien accueillis, et la maison très agréable et bien équipée dans un cadre superbe. Nouis avons apprécié le charme du village . Nous pouvons recommander cette maison.

Pool, great kitchen, plenty of space, great location, nice decor, stocked fridge. We enjoyed our stay here immensely. The place is cozy, comfortable and a great home base from which to explore Crete. The owners were so easy to work with! They even came over to help us remove a bat (nyketeris) that had mistakenly flown into the house! Plenty of towels, there was food in the fridge, olive oil on the counter, and wine that was there to drink. It was a wonderful week.

The villa was lovley and the owner was very nice and wellcoming. We had two problems, that were taken care of very quikley: a leak in the bathroom and no hot water. Apart from that, everythig was great. Thank you
